It brings me immense joy to learn of your interest in elephants and their well-being. They are truly magnificent creatures deserving of our love and care. Allow me to introduce myself, my team, and my Elephant Rehabilitation Center.
Owned and managed by a former elephant rider (Mahout), while We was established in 2012, my family's involvement with elephants spans over four generations. Before the center, I worked as an elephant rider at the Amber Palace for nine years, providing riding tours to tourists. However, I yearned for something more meaningful for the elephants and sought to dispel misconceptions about their treatment.
Driven by this desire, I founded the Rehabilitation Center to provide insight into the lives of Asian elephants and to counter misconceptions about their mistreatment. We welcome visitors to experience our eco-friendly living conditions firsthand and witness the work we do to give elephants a better life.

Our Sanctuary has several elephants, some of which have been rescued from various circuses across India. 5.00You really get to be close and personal with the elephants. You can tell they are treated nicely and you can pet them very long. Never felt unsave. The guides give you lots of food to give and they also let you walk and bathe the elephant. Really nice experience and would like to recommend it when you are visiting Jaipur. Its definetely one of my highlights in my stay in India!

5.00I visited elefantastic in may on my tour of northern India. They were amazing at working around my itinerary and were very flexible when my tour guide changed things about. The driver was very knowledgeable about jaipur and told us all about the countryside way of living. Nice, clean car, comfortable drive. We first stopped at the owner's mother's house for an amazing homecooked vegetarian meal. We had lentils, okra, and pumpkin with chapati. It was absolutely delicious. And she was a warm and welcoming hostess. We arrived at the sanctuary and met an amazing elephant called Padma. What an animal. A beautiful gentle giant. Who had been rescued from a job with heavy loads etc. After being offered some cold drinks by the staff; We fed her cucumber, alfafa, and sugar cane. Lots of hugs and stroking, bonding with eye contact. The connection between her and her handler was lovely to see. We then took her for a short walk, parasols were provided as it was so hot. Watching her walk was a sight in itself. Back to the start, it was bath time! We filled up a tub with water which she threw all over herself, and us, while we have her a scrub and massage ! We laughed so much, and were absolutely soaked. You could tell she really enjoyed this, as she leant into our scrubbing brushes. The supporting guide took fantastic photos and slow motion videos on my phone while we interacted with Padma. Big, fluffy towels were provided for is to dry off with. You can tell the elephants are looked after, are not doing anything they dont enjoy, and that they are bonded with their carers. This was one of the best experiences I had in my entire tour. Unforgettable experience. I can't recommend this enough !

5.00Had a wonderful personal upclose encounter with a 37 year female elephant. She was so gentle the handlers were incredible, I fed, walked & bathed her one on one. Awesome connection with a beautiful animal. Operator was instructive and ensured proper eye contact would enhance the experience. Would do it again and highly recommend. Finished off my morning with an inhome village India breakfast. Thanks for the experience of a lifetime.

5.00Recently, I visited Elefantastic with my family, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the love, care, and respect with which the elephants are treated. We spent time with a gentle elephant named Padma, who was incredibly calm and peaceful. Watching her happily enjoy her food and interact with visitors was a heartwarming experience. Being so close to such a magnificent animal created a special connection that we will always remember. The entire visit was well-organized, informative, and filled with positive energy. It was wonderful to learn about the elephants while seeing first hand how well they are cared for. I highly recommend Elefantastic to anyone looking for an authentic and meaningful experience with these amazing animals. Thank you, Padma, for making our visit so special!

5.00Such a great experience! The staff was extremely accommodating and the living arrangements were great and beautiful. Such a life changing experience. It is so refreshing to see how the elephants are cared for. You can tell they are really loved!

5.00Going to Elefantastic was one of the absolute highlights on my trip to India. As cliche as it sounds, this was experience I’ll never forget. We got to meet Padma, a rescued elephant now living her life at Elefantastic and kept in good health by her care taker, Shanu. Our host/guide for the experience, Mr. Dabbu treated us wonderfully right down to providing us with cups of chai while we fed Padma to make it the classic Indian experience. To add the cherry or rather chapati on top, the home cooked meal we got from Rahul’s mother was honestly one of my favorites I’ve had in India. It helped that it was simply flavorful and not spicy. I noticed the experience didn’t include painting the elephant which was fine by me and I assume not including it was a response to a recent controversy about an elephant in Jaipur being painted all pink for a fashion photoshoot and dying. It’s important to note they’re a lot of fake elephant “sanctuaries” in Jaipur. Elefantastic isn’t one of them but they’re a lot of similar looking ones out there that I assume some drivers might bring guests to those ones by mistake. Besides, it was a more fulfilling experience to see Padma just being an elephant and simply touching her to feel her humble aura. Also Mr. Dabbu said the busiest time at Elefantastic was in the winter in which for the sake the elephants’ comfort, guests usually can’t wash them with a hose due to the cold. However we came in May for my birthday and with the blazing summer heat, thus we were honored to wash Padma with Shanu to refresh her from the Rajasthan heat. Also because of the heat, me and my cousin were the only guests at the property thus our experience felt more personal.
