First, safety briefing & instructions about the boat, life jackets, bathroom etc. We'll serve coffee, croissants & open bar all day. We'll depart towards our first snorkeling stop, cruising along the coastline with historical info & helpful tips from the Captain. We'll arrive at Long Bay, with more info about where we are & sea life to expect (also turtles). Quick brief on snorkel equipment. While guests swim, snorkel, paddle board or relax on the beach, we'll prepare lunch: charcoal BBQ, marinated chicken breast, mixed salad, gluten-free pasta salad, homemade garlic dip, French bread & beyond burgers for vegetarians. When guests come back on board, lunch is served. Next? Another snorkeling stop. Fresh melon, snacks, drinks (mimosas, rum punch, beers, sodas etc.) served & more stories about Sint Maarten from the Captain. Arriving in Little Bay, with a submarine, shipwreck, helicopter & sea life. After a full day of fun we'll return with lifetime memories. P.S. Service charge not included. P.S. Destinations may vary due to weather.

Captain Mike was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and made sure our family had an unforgettable experience from start to finish. He knew all the best spots, shared fun local knowledge, and made us feel safe and relaxed the entire trip. Whether we were snorkeling, swimming, sightseeing, or just enjoying the beautiful water, every moment was perfectly planned without ever feeling rushed. The boat was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, and Captain Mike went above and beyond to make sure everyone—especially our son—had an amazing time. His passion for what he does really shines through, and it made the experience that much more special. 5.00Very professional, but relaxing. This was definitely the highlight of our trip! This was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip! It was very professional yet relaxed. Capt.Mike is very knowledgeable, Elmira was super friendly and obliging for our teenagers. This is a must!!

5.00What an amazing last day spent in Saint Maarten aboard the Red Baron sailing catamaran with Captain Mike and first mate Elmira. They treated my family like family spoiling us for the day. Amazing snorkeling locations, beautiful views, lots of local history lessons, absolutely delicious lunch and drinks. Captain Mike grilled tuna and chicken that was chefs kiss! Elmira prepared delicious salads and sandwiches keeping my teenagers full for the day which is hard to do! We truly loved our time spent on the Red Baron and can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommend this day trip!

5.00Awesome day trip ! We had a great day on the Red Barron ! Super nice catamaran, fully stocked with drinks, snacks and an incredible lunch cooked on a wood fire grill by the captain. Captain and first mate looked after everyone on board and went above and beyond to make us feel at home onboard. We have chartered catamaran’s all over the Caribbean and these guys are some the best we have had. Very knowledgeable of the island and its history, 10 out of 10 would recommend.

5.00Wonderful day to be on the water and Capt Mike and Elmira could have not been better host. Great snorkeling, sailing, and what an amazing lunch they made for us. They made us feel like family and highly recommend Red Barron.

5.00If you’re visiting Philipsburg and looking for an unforgettable sailing experience, stop searching and book with Mike and Elmira! This was our very first time sailing and our first visit to St. Maarten, and they made the entire day absolutely incredible. From the moment we stepped aboard, they welcomed us like old friends rather than customers. We enjoyed beautiful snorkeling, a delicious homemade lunch, and plenty of time to relax and take in the stunning views. What truly set this trip apart was the atmosphere they created. It didn’t feel like a charter—it felt like spending the day on the water with family. Mike and Elmira are warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing their love of sailing and the island with their guests. By the end of the day, we weren’t just leaving with amazing memories and photos—we were leaving with new friends. Thank you both for making our first sailing adventure one we’ll never forget. We can’t recommend this experience highly enough!

5.00We had such a lovely experience on this catamaran! Mike and his wife Elmira were both incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. One of the coolest parts of the day was being able to swim from the boat straight to the beach , such a fun and unforgettable experience! When we got back onboard, we were welcomed with the most amazing food which honestly made the whole experience even better. A few of us ended up dealing with motion sickness during the ride, but they were so caring and constantly checking in to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed. We specifically wanted a private boat experience for just our group of 8 since so many other tours were public with 25+ people, and this felt so much more personal and comfortable. We truly felt at home the entire time. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a more intimate and memorable experience on the water!

5.00We had such an incredible experience. The boat was lovely. Mike and Elmira could not have made you feel more at home. They were so knowledgeable about the island. Absolutely lovely, hospitable couple that really know what they are doing. We had a beautiful day, and would come back in a second!

5.00Our day on the water with Captain Mike and his LOVELY wife Elmira was the highlight of our trip. They have honed their craft to a T! I appreciated all of the knowledge and experience as they shared stories with us. It felt like talking to old friends and I wanted to stay longer! Elmira was so attentive to our needs, checking in to see how she could serve us while also giving us time to ourselves. She and Mike prepared the most delicious FRESH lunch while we snorkeled and enjoyed the beautiful beach. You will absolutely NOT regret booking with Red Baron Charters!
