On the way to Akagera national park, you will stop by this coffee shop and have breakfast. it's 1h30mins drive from Kigali city and It's an amazing place where you can also order packed lunch. This place has also fascinating arts from different artists.
Akagera National Park
Akagera National Park lies in eastern Rwanda, hugging the border with Tanzania. It's characterized by woodland, swamps, low mountains and savannah. The varied terrain shelters wildlife including zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions and hundreds of bird species, such as the rare shoebill stork. In the southern part of the park, vast Lake Ihema is home to hippos and crocodiles. it's 1h drive from the 1st attraction . and spend 6 hours with the national park doing the game drive . and will require another 2h 30 min to come back in Kigali .

5.00We did two tours through Kigali Atlantis Tours - an Akagera safari and a gorilla trekking experience - and both were fantastic. The planning process was very easy. We had a phone call beforehand to discuss our interests and budget, and they handled all of the arrangements for us. The accommodations at both locations were excellent, and our guide was always punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. The experiences themselves were incredibly well organized and exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this operator to anyone planning a trip to Rwanda.

5.00A full day tour full of wild life. Got to see colorful birds, giraffes, zebras, elephant, buffaloes, hippos, and many others. Dady was an excellent driver and tour guide, very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour if you are in Kigali. P
