Dive into Lankaran’s rich history and visit the historic house museum that once belonged to Mir Akhmad Khan, a descendant of the last ruler of Lankaran Khanate – a province that existed on the territory of Azerbaijan, between 1747 – 1828. Exhibits range from home furnishings of the day and national clothes to carpets and paintings displaying Mir Akhmad Khan and his wife, Tughra khanym.
Mayak (Lighthouse)
There is a very famous and historical in Lankaran where Joseph Stalin was kept for a period of time. Then The M. Rasulzadeh, founder of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, helped Stalin escape through a secret underground tunnel to the famous Mayak Lighthouse (a central figure and source of pride within Lankaran) and then onto the Caspian Sea.

5.00I can’t even describe how amazing this tour was and how much fun I had. First and foremost, the places we visited were breathtaking! Colours of the leaves was amazing! I also got very lucky because the great guide. Such great energy and interesting stories were shared about every single places. The driver was great and he made sure we had a smooth ride. Not only was he knowledgeable and attentive but he was also a lot of fun. He made sure all our needs were met and all our questions were answered.Highly highly highly recommend!
