  My wife and I had a terrific experience with Jack Jennings on a nearly full-day Gornergrat hiking and Alpine sightseeing tour. The day featured breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, the iconic Matterhorn, and several historic sites and buildings around Zermatt. After exploring Gornergrat, we made our way back toward Zermatt with a series of well-chosen stops along the railway for spectacular viewpoints and photo opportunities. We also enjoyed an easy hike through beautiful forests and countryside, allowing us to experience the area at a relaxed pace. Jack was exceptionally knowledgeable, attentive to our interests and abilities, and skilled at tailoring the day to make it both enjoyable and memorable. Beyond being a highly qualified guide, he was simply great company—friendly, engaging, and someone you genuinely enjoy spending a day with. We would highly recommend Jack to anyone looking for a first-rate guide in the Zermatt area.

  Jack Jennings is an outstanding guide. He's very personable and very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Switzerland and Zermatt. We had a somewhat challenging hike, but he paced it perfectly to suit our senior legs. Great tour, great guide, great day on the mountain with him.

  We had Jack Jennings as our tour guide and what a wonderful day we had. Jack is so knowledgeable about the area and can answer any questions you have. The hiking was amazing and he was very conscious of exertion levels making sure we were comfortable with the level of activity and took frequent water breaks. We are finally done with our tour through switzerland and this tour and our day with Jack is the highlight of the trip!

  Great experience on this tour. Our guide, Jack, knew exactly where to go and what to do to navigate around the crowds. He also took us to some prime picture spots that only a local would know. We were impressed by his knowledge of the sites and highly recommend doing this tour with a guide.

  Excellent trip with our guide Pete. Went to the top of the mountain with excellent views, the zoom theater and enjoyed a 90 hike with spectacular views. Enjoyed a wonderful lunch over looking Materhorn and finished our experience with a tour of Zermott. Pete was extremely knowledgeable in all details around Switzerland, the alps, skiing etc. would highly recommend this experience and specifically with Pete.

• An Amazing Day Adventure

  What an amazing adventure. David was our guide for the day. We rode the train to the top of Mt Gourgerat and spent time taking pictures and a hot chocolate at the lodge. We then took the train back down the mountain and got off and took a long hike back to Zermatt. David our guide was informative and a pleasure to listen to as he provided us with the history of the region and its chalet architecture. Thank you David for a wonderful and amazing adventure today!

  We booked through Viator and we were not disappointed. David was our guide and very knowledgeable about the area. He lives and works in the Zermatt area and provide so many insights. Loved the train ride, amazing views on a beautiful clear day and we hiked down from the last train stop in to town to truly see, smell and experience Zermatt.

  

  

  

• Experience Switzerland in March with My Mountains

  My Mountains organized a fabulous Swiss adventure. This was our first trip to Switzerland, and they combined sightseeing, cultural experiences, and skiing. Our trip was everything we hoped it would be. They put together an all inclusive package with excellent guides, beautiful accommodations, and wonderful travel arrangements. The trip began by being greeted at the Zurich airport by Leo, who was very generous with his time, getting us oriented to all things Swiss, and getting us on our train to Lucern. As an added bonus, it was Carnival, in Lucern. If you are traveling in March to Lucern, this is a spectacle not to be missed. The Golden Pass rail trip from Lucern to Montreux was another unexpected highlight. Our trip was seamless, relaxing, and very enjoyable. Many thanks to our friends at My Mountains.

  We absolutely loved this tour. Our guide, Jack, met us at our hotel and first took us by train to Mt Gornergrat to see amazing views. We then toured the Zoom museum and had a lovely lunch on the mountain. After our time on the mountain, we came back by train to Zermatt where Jack showed us key sites, restaurants and shopping in Zermatt. Along the way, we learned much about the culture and history of the town. I would highly recommend the tour and Jack as the guide.

  Jack was very attentive. In spite of rain we had a great day. We had a nice overview of the area and a tour up Gornergrat.
