• Stressful late pickup

  I would not recommend this provider (Aida Travel Services). Through Tripadvisor we booked a round trip (35 minutes each way) from the airport to our Airbnb. 6 people, cost £170 (Car rental in Curaçao is about £30 per day) Pick up and journey from the airport was fine. BUT: For the return I contacted the provider a couple of days before our departure to arrange a pickup time, I mooted 15.30 for our 19.00 flight. They suggested 16.00 as their usual three hour pre-flight pickup and we accepted that, as their local knowledge was valued. We were outside the property at 16.00 as agreed, As the vehicle did not arrive I messaged and was told at 14.09 that it would be there in ten minutes. Our local host tried to contact Aida Travel Services but the number he found on the internet was not working. At 14.20 I asked him to arrange alternative transport which he did. I asked our hosts whether lateness was common on Curaçao and they said, no that this was unacceptable. By this time we were all anxious about missing check-in for our flight should there be any further problems. The kids were upset. At 14,28 the original vehicle finally arrived and our host kindly cancelled his alternative. (no apology was offered for the late arrival) In the vehicle the driver asked where we wanted to go! - we had booked and paid for an airport round trip. En route the driver was constantly using his hand held 'phone - illegal in the UK and considered dangerous. At the airport the driver demanded payment for the trip. I refused and he backed down, but this could have been a very awkward situation. I had expected better standards when booking through the Tripadvisor platform.

  I had a fantastic experience with this transportation service for my recent roundtrip. From start to finish, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. What stood out: • Communication: The communication was top-notch. I received clear updates and felt completely informed throughout the entire process. • Punctuality: They really value your time. Both my pickup and drop-off were perfectly on schedule, which took all the stress out of my travel days. • Seamless Service: The vehicle was comfortable, and the transition between legs of the trip was flawless. If you’re looking for a reliable team that actually shows up when they say they will, look no further. I’ll definitely be booking with them again!

• Business was difficult to deal with. Drivers extremely friendly.

  This transport did the job. It got us from point A to Point B. Was unable to locate the driver at airport, had someone local attempt to help with phone calls, took approximately 6 calls for them to understand our issue. Finally they said someone was there and told us to look for green van, after a long frustrating search, we found him (on a dark passenger car, no van). We ordered larger vehicle because my husband is 6'6" and has had recent knee replacement. So he sat cramped up in back seat of small car. Driver was friendly and said they called him last minute for this transport (we booked weeks in advance). The driver that picked us up from Resort to transport back to airport was 10m late, which had us worrying. Driver was very nice and van was nice and clean.

  I will never in my life use this taxi company ever again in life. The person coordinating the cab ride was EXTREMELY unprofessional and chose to have an argument with me via what’s app.

  Service was 1.5 hours late and very poor vehicle . We had a reservation for 6 people and the service showed up with a vehicle that would only hold 3 people.

  Best transportation driver. Joaquin was so knowledgeable & friendly. Perfect welcome to the island. He was very prompt with communicating & picking us up. Will definitely use his services upon returning back to the island.

• Nice vacations in Curazao

  All family reunited in Curazao to spend one week and received the new year. We stayed at the Lions Dive Resort in Mambo Beach. Rule number one, reserve a taxi before hand , it could take a very long time to get a taxi at the airport if you are lucky. Jean Claude helped us with the transfers, his contact is jeanclaudegeorges09@gmail.com, he charged the official price per trip, others charge more. Rule number 2, you have to be very patient in restaurants, all of them take a lot of time to prepare the food I am talking about 45 mins to 1 hour wait, but since you are in vacation just enjoy. Curazao is an expensive destinations, hotels, food, drinks and taxis. However, the people is very warm and cordial, most speak English and Spanish. The best of all the beaches and the weather, just beautiful. We enjoyed Mambo Beach and Porto Marie, there are so many. The best way to visit them is renting a car, taxis are expensive.

  Our driver was on time. Vehicle was clean and professional. He was friendly and got us to the airport faster than the bus from Sandals!
