Kick off your rowing adventure at the City of Cambridge Rowing Club, where you'll get a solid introduction to the sport. After a 30-minute session on rowing machines focusing on timing and technique, it's time to hit the water. In a stable 'double' boat, you'll practice your newly learned strokes on the beautiful River Cam. With a skilled instructor by your side, two participants will board the boat for an exhilarating hour of rowing, complete with a memorable photo opportunity. Perfect for beginners and those looking to refine their skills in a stunning setting.

We start the experience with an introduction at City of Cambridge Rowing club. This is followed by a 30min session on the clubs rowing machines (ergs), working on timing and technique. We then put the technique into practice by taking a stable 'double' boat out and affixing this to the side of the river where participants are then able to perform the rowing stroke on the water. Once we feel confident that you are able to follow instructions carefully, both participants will get into the boat with their instructor. Quick picture moment and then its straight onto the river where you get a full hour of rowing on the River Cam!

5.00I had the best time rowing on the River Cam. I had rowed varsity years ago so l was able to take out a single. Omar snapped some terrific videos and photos. I appreciated Omar guiding me down the river while he biked alongside me. Rowing was definitely a highlight of my Britsh trip

You could tell he truly cares to ensure that his customers receive proper instructions, especially for first-timers, and most importantly enjoy the experience. 5.00It was a really great experience. Omar's kindness and helpfulness are unsurpassed. He is a very patient teacher prepared and I had no difficulty learning the technique. And he's also very nice. I had a wonderful and warm welcome. Highly recommended
