Whether you are here for the rich, historic heritage, the unique landscape and wildlife of the islands, or just to escape from a routine, you are in for a treat. And I will endeavour to help make your experience worthwhile.
Convenient pick-up and drop-off at any place of choice and travel at your own pace.
Bespoke itinerary requests are welcome. Flexible start times plus a guarantee that your tour will be available for up to 36 hours from the scheduled start time in case of unforeseen delays on your part or adverse weather conditions.

Please, kindly note that the touring vehicle is a Mini Countryman compact SUV, and it is most comfortable for a maximum of three adult guests. However, 4 guests can be accommodated on request.
Although our travel vehicle is not wheelchair accessible due to its size, we will always do our very best to accommodate our customers with a disability. We have provided and carried foldable wheelchairs and walking aids as needed. Please, feel welcome and kindly enquire regarding details.
Clients are welcome to change or create a bespoke itinerary
Visiting the sites requires substantial amount of walking, although most routes can be adapted to your needs - please, contact us in advance. Many sites are outdoors. The weather in Orkney tends to be windy and wet... :)

5.00We spent our day off of the cruise ship with Anna. From the pickup at the cruise ship gangway to the drop off in Kirkwall at the end of the day we had a great time. Anna was right on time. She has great information. Be sure to include the Italian Chapel with your booking. Even if that adds time and a bit more cost the site is well worth it. The Neolithic sites are amazing. A day not to miss. Highly recommended.

5.00We had a great private day tour of Orkney with Anna our guide and driver. She was a fantastic host and we had a tour that met all our requirements. Her communication before the tour was excellent and we were able to tell her what we wanted and didn’t want to do, but even on the day we could adjust as required. Thank you Anna for a great day, and if you book with her I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

5.00Our knowledgeable and friendly tour guide for this excursion was Anna, who took three of us around Orkney in her Mini Cooper. She fashioned the tour around the sites we most wanted to see, stopping at the Italian Chapel, St. Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall, the Standing Stones of Stenness, Skara Brae, and Ring of Brodgar, with a pre-arranged stop for a delicious lunch at Orkney Pub. She even squeezed in a stop at an historic farmhouse. We were coming from a cruise ship and she met us promptly at the pier and returned us well before the ship sailed. She even gave us some Orkney souvenirs to take home! The private tour with a well informed guide was the best choice for our family. Communication with Anna before the tour was excellent, and we felt she was genuinely interested in showing us the best of this beautiful island she calls home. The price was right and the day was memorable. Highly recommend!

5.00We were on the Orkney Islands with the AIDA and of course didn't have much time. I was lucky enough to come across the offer of this tour at relatively short notice and knew immediately, this tour is perfect for me and my husband. I was able to express my own wishes, to which Anna responded. She sent me her plans for our private tour in advance via WhatsApp, so that the last subtleties could still be coordinated. We were picked up directly at Kirkwall Pier. We had our own cozy pace through this private tour with Anna and saw everything we wanted to see except the puffins (it was unfortunately not the right time of year for this). It was a wonderful day with Anna. She explained a lot to us on the journey from one point to the next what to know about this wonderful place on earth. It was also great that Anna provided us with regional treats on the way. It was really a perfect day for us. Even the weather was right. It's as good as it gets. I would book the tour with her again anytime.
A memorable afternoon discovering Orkney

5.00We only had a short time in Orkney, and our time was further impacted by the ferry to Orkney being delayed due to high winds and rough seas. In addition, our plan was further impacted when we received a message on the ferry that our booking for Scara Brae had been cancelled due to the high winds. Despite these challenges, Anna came to the rescue, ensuring that we had a memorable afternoon in Orkney. When Anna heard that our Scara Brae visit had been cancelled she took the initiative to arrange tickets for Maeshowe Chambered Cairn (which we had not been able to arrange ourselves). Knowing that time was of the essence, and that any stop for food would eat into our time, Anna brought along some tasty snacks for us to eat as we traveled from site to site. We were delighted with how many sites Anna was able to show us in such a short time. Anna's flexibility, initiative, knowledge and extra touches really made a huge difference in making our short visit to Orkney such a memorable experience. Thank you Anna!
Anna is simply the best and mainland is fascinating and magnificient!

5.00Me, my 10 years old daughter and my father spent the day with Anna and she made us fall in love with her island! She tailored our tour in accordance with our needs and taste. I was very impressed with the rich history (having visited egypt, that is something) Anna brushed up on her viking knowledge especially for us. She brought us to the Best spots and also where no other tourists were going…She even drove out of her way to make us see Highland cows… I very strongly recommand her tour!
You will be amazed with the History and knowledge!

We visited the Stones, Skara Brae, and many other fascinating places. If you can book with Anna, don’t think twice! She was the most fun we had on a tour on this trip. Very knowledgeable about the local history.
