5.00A very pleasant and interesting visite of the main monuments to see in Sintra ! Most monuments were expensive and difficult getting a ticket for, so a tour of all of them comes in handy specially when you haven't planned the visits ahead of time. The guide speaks clear and fluent English, very friendly and knows a LOT about Sintra's history and it's monuments ! If you're looking for a good visit with explanations and nice photos of each monuments I recommend this tour.

5.00We met our guide completely by chance while visiting Sintra, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our trip. What started with a simple question became a fantastic afternoon exploring Sintra in his iconic bright orange Toyota. He shared fascinating stories about the town’s history, mythology, culture, and people, all with genuine passion and outstanding knowledge. What we appreciated most was that nothing felt forced or commercial. He was friendly, authentic, and never pushy. His excellent English and engaging storytelling brought Sintra to life in a way that no guidebook ever could. He also gave us great recommendations for local food, coffee, and pastries, which made our stay even better. If you’re looking for a memorable and authentic way to discover Sintra, we highly recommend spending some time with him. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

5.00Benedito took me on the tour around the mountains of Sintra seeing the beautiful palaces! He was very good at explaining all the history behind it and I thoroughly enjoyed it, definitely worth it when you’re in Sintra!

5.00We recently visited the beautiful and historic town of Sintra, near Lisbon in Portugal. We arranged a private jeep tour with Carolina of Local Vibes Tours. Carolina is an excellent tour guide….she is friendly and engaging with an immense amount of knowledge of the local history. If you plan on visiting Sintra I would highly recommend a tour with Carolina.

5.00⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic experience in Sintra with localvibes. Carolina and Bennedito were simply amazing from start to finish. In addition to being extremely friendly and welcoming, they showed an impressive knowledge about the history, culture and curiosities of Sintra, making the visit much more interesting and engaging. What marked us most was the positive energy and the excellent disposition with which they conducted the whole tour. We always felt well accompanied and at ease, as if we were walking with friends who knew all the secrets of the region. The passion they have for what they do is obvious and makes all the difference in the experience. They managed to combine high-quality historical information with a relaxed, fun and very pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for this experience 😉

5.00We had such a great time touring Sintra with Carolina. She was warm, personable, and genuinely felt like the perfect person to show us around since she's a local who grew up in the area. One of the most fascinating parts was learning about Sintra's unique microclimate and its vastly different weather than nearby Lisbon. My daughter and I had literally landed in Portugal that morning and were running on very little sleep, but the tour was paced perfectly... not too much walking, not too much sitting, and just the right amount of history and explanation. Riding around in Carolina's open-air jeep gave us a chance to see so much in a short amount of time, including beaches, stunning overlooks, palaces, castles, and an incredible variety of plants and trees from all over the world that somehow thrive there.
