5.00Our third vacation with MCM Tours & Travel and it was another wonderful 3 night, 4 day experience. We were picked up at the Fusina cruise terminal and taken north into the stunning South Tirol region. Manfred and Patrick are so knowledgeable about the area and understand that it is not just about sightseeing, but having fun along the way. Traveling as a group of 6 friends (3 couples) we all felt comfortable in the Mercedes van as we saw the beautiful transition from the coast in Venice to the Dolomites in Cortina d'Ampezzo. We stopped along the way to have a nice lunch, have a drink and enjoy great conversation. Our hotels were perfect as were the res truants they recommended. Over the alps and into Innsbruck was classic Tirol. We highly recommend hiring a guide (Manfred) and a driver (Patrick. As parking and transportation in towns can be hard, the convenience of the 2 meant we would get dropped off in town, stroll the shops, get a bite to eat, and walk around the corner to be picked up by. We stayed in the small town of Mittenwald Germany, which was picture perfect and not as crowded as Garmisch. We ended our trip in Munich with 4 of us going by train to Prague and 2 flying home. Manfred went with us into the train station (HBF) and made sure we were on the right train and in the correct car (this can be tricky when traveling to the Czech Republic). The personal service and attention to detail was very reassuring. We will see them again!
