Two Hours Well Spent with Ebbi!!!

5.00Ebbi gave us a great tour around the island. We saw many things including puffins and where the volcano started its eruption in 1973 and how it flowed and covered parts of the town. Since he is a local, his commentary and love of the island was very evident. We gained much in those two hours that we would not have learned on our own. This is a great way to see the island in a short period of time.

5.00Ebbi gives an amazing tour--we saw and learned about so many places on the island, and saw lots of puffins! I highly recommend this tour, a much more relaxing and informative experience than trying to see everything on your own.

3.00We went to the Westman Islands specifically because we were excited about doing this tour and seeing puffins. However, puffins were only a brief part of the tour and were at a distance and moved fast, so we couldn't see them clearly. Most of the tour was about Westman Islands in general and the volcanic eruption in 1973. The tour was ok, but not that engaging and not what we hoped for.

5.00This was by far the best tour I’ve taken in Iceland! Relatively small group and very comfortable vehicle and Ebbi is FANTASTIC! he is extremely knowledgeable, but shares information in a highly entertaining manner. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00Ebbi was an excellent, enthusiastic, entertaining escort around Vestmannaeyjar. He has connections to many locals from the young boys at the Sprangan wall, to the local sheep who eat from the palm of his hand (and yours if you like), and the best beer and food at the end of the tour. Book this tour for any age, be ready to get on and off the minibus every 5 minutes or less, there is so much to see and learn.
