Start your adventure with a scenic drive from La Fortuna, arriving at our site surrounded by lush pastures and a rainforest river. After a safety briefing from our expert guides, the excitement begins. First, rappel down a 32-meter (105 ft) waterfall into a 3-meter-deep pool, followed by a second 17-meter (56 ft) rappel. Afterward, climb a 17-meter staircase and take a short walk that leads you to the second rappel, a thrilling 17-meter descent. Then, continue with a brief walk through the river that brings you to the last adrenaline rush: a 10-meter (33 ft) jump into an 8-meter-deep pool. White Water Rafting After your Rainforest Falls experience, you’ll be given snacks and bottled water to enjoy on your way to your river adventure - 2 hours of thrilling white water rafting await you. On this class II-III class river you’ll experience a good mix of exciting rapids and rainforest exploration. Halfway through rafting, you’ll stop on the river for a refreshing swim, fresh fruit, and cold drinks. At the end of the tour, you’ll sit down to a traditional Costa Rican lunch. This is a great combo full of adrenaline, fun, nature, and adventure!

5.00These experiences both exceeded expectations! It is a decent ride to Rainforest Falls but absolutely worth it. The repels and jumps get your blood pumping and the natural beauty is a serene setting. The guides, led by Mauricio, are incredible and they even helped build the experience a few years back. Our family of 6 (kids 10, 12, 14, 16) said this was their favorite in our trip thus far. Going in to rafting I wasn’t sure the energy of the family. Having a large group of 80 on the tour didn’t take away from the experience because Christian was an incredible guide! The river was also way more fun and exciting than I expected, with the first 15 minutes really throwing you into it! Our kids didn’t have much experience and they all absolute loved it. Things to consider is that it is a pretty long day. Meeting for Rainforest falls was at 7:15 for an 8am tour and we were not in the canyon until 9. Again, once you’re there, 1000% worth it, just a heads up. Also helpful to know that lunch isn’t u til after rafting, for us after 2pm. The Pure Trek folks did give us substantial snacks before rafting so that helped a lot. Lunch wrapped after a sugar cane demonstration just after 3 before shuttles took us back to La Fortuna. Long day - Great day.

5.00One of the best tours we have done. Amazing nature and excitement. It’s super safe too versus the other tours like this as they have two ropes. Jonathan our guide was particularly amazing. You will not regret this day and the memories and of course … the amazing Instagram photos you get!!!
