  Super recommended! We rented a scooter to visit the monasteries and everything went very well. They were very punctual for the delivery of the scooter; in addition, the store manager took it directly to the campsite where we were staying and also took care of picking it up at the end of the rental. For us, it was a real relief as we were far from the city center. Maxime and Violeta.

  Riding the mopeds was the best way to see the monasteries. It was an easy ride and parking was no problem on busy days. The staff was so friendly and helpful and sent maps and great information. Highly recommend!!

  Who would have thought Kalambaka doesn't have a bus to the monastery anymore 🤣 But we were Recommended by the owner of the local restaurant. The Jannis brothers were really sweet, seeing that neither of us was very good at cycling and driving us to all the monasteries. They even took us to see the sunset - and even the caverns and ancient villages that were opened by the original monks! Brother is also great at taking pictures will also look for the most beautiful places to take pictures - really great Recommendations, save effort, we just need to relax and enjoy the scenery ~

  I make a pilgrimage to Meteoria every year, and this year decided to rent a scooter. I rented a scooter from this family-run shop a few days ago and have to say it was an amazing experience. Two brothers run the shop and were extremely helpful in helping me select a scooter and signing the papers. I had the scooter in less than 10 minutes! The rates are very reasonable and the best in town! It turns out that I later sprained my ankle, the two brothers insisted on taking me to the hospital and after I checked out 9 hours later, kindly brought me back to my hotel. They refused to accept even a tip for this amazing act of kindness! I advise anyone visiting the monasteries in Meteoria to rent from this shop! It simply is the best in town and the men who run it are amazing! Trust me, this is the best place and I will be renting from them for the rest of my life when I come and visit this town!

  I had a great time with the hired motorbike. John was very helpful offering to drop of the bike to my hotel. I opted for a pick up return instead. Equipment was in good working order and as described. Would choose them again.

  John from Ride on Rocks provided us with amazing customer service . Such a friendly and professional young man . He brought the scooter to our hotel and collected at the end of our 2 day hire. John was available for any support and assistance during our rental . Would highly recommend, the scooter was best way to get around Meteora .. easy parking and so nice to ride in the mountains.   Ioannis and Chris are the kindest business owners, ever. It was just me and my 15 year old son. We wanted to rent a scooter to go visit the monasteries, but clearly had no experience riding a scooter. They offered to take us to the monasteries (all 5 of the ones that were opened that day) and then go again to see the sunset. They basically were our private chauffeurs and guides. They provided plenty of water, were always on time to pick us up, drove safely and always attentive to our well being. Riding scooters is the best way to reach the monasteries. You can easily park and the roads are well paved. They offer excellent rates and helmets are included. The scooters are in great condition too. The 2 cousins saved the day and gave us the best experience we could have wished for. Highly highly recommend Riding on the Rocks.
