  We would definitely book with Roatan Ocean Adventures again. They were friendly and prompt and right where they said they would be. Our driver, Kaylee was so sweet and we got to learn a lot about the island itself. The day of our excursion was very windy, so unfortunately we didn't get to snorkel in the original location due to the rough seas and safety. We still snorkeled by a sandbar so we could stand if needed. They were short on guides in the water that day and needed a bigger boat, so they added a complimentary beach break for about 30-45 min. while the other boat finished up instead of just sitting at the dock and waiting. That was a fun extra bonus. The monkey/sloth sanctuary was great too. It sounds like there are a few on the island. This one was very professional and fun! We got to let the monkeys jump around on us, see sloths, and let macaws sit on our heads. Such a fun day!

  We had a great time - professional employees, clean, well-maintained vehicle, excellent experience with the sloths/monkeys and snorkeling. The snorkeling here is beautiful... we had to slightly alter our snorkeling route due to jellyfish and our tour guide was very reassuring and helped us recognize a variety of fish. No issue returning to port timely. I could not be happier, considering I was blindly trusting this company to keep me safe in a new country, and they definitely did a great job of showing us around!

  This excursions was amazing! I will forever recommend it to anyone that asks. Getting through the port was what you would expect, but everyone helped direct our group where to go when I told them what we were looking for. Keylie was our guide and driver, and I cannot recommend her enough! She was knowledgeable, so kind, funny, and made this experience even better. Definitely ask for Keylie if you can. Joe took the second half of our group and they said he was a total sweetheart as well. The animal experience was INCREDIBLE! The facility was clean, well organized, and you could tell the animals were well taken care of. Our animal guides were funny and also super helpful and friendly. The monkey experience was a highlight for everyone! We booked this tour to see the sloths and monkeys, and the snorkel was just an added plus. We actually snorkeled the day before in Costa Maya, but this snorkel experience was SO much better. The water was incredibly beautiful, and there was so much more to see (both reef and sea life) than the day before. Our snorkel guide was also amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best experience possible! Our guides knew what time our ship was leaving and made sure we were back at the port with ample time to still eat and do some shopping before boarding.   We had such an amazing time in Roatan!! I was hesitant to book outside of the cruise line but wow, I am so glad I did it. Brandon was a fabulous tour guide and taught us so much about the island. The monkeys, sloths, and macaws were so fun! Our whole group got great pictures. Snorkeling on the reef was truly a highlight of the trip and our lives! Our guide took us far into the water and pointed out so many things. We saw rays, eels, tons of beautiful fish, and lobsters, among others!! It was incredible and I cannot recommend it enough.

  We had Jenny for our tour guide and driver and she was absolutely wonderful! Thank you Jenny for all of your help and being so kind to me (Adeline) and my daughter Brooklyn. If there is a way to give her a tip since I didn’t have any cash please let me know. She most definitely deserves it. We went to see the monkeys and sloths first then headed to the beach for a bit then went scuba diving. Everything was absolutely wonderful.

  Service was great and our hosts were nice. The day we went the waves were high and they drop off you off in the ocean about 30 feet deep in spots and come back 30-45 minutes later. Make sure you are strong swimmers. The wait for the boat was also pretty long.

  We had an amazing time on the snorkel and monkey excursion with ROA. We followed the directions out of the port and met Herbert - the owner. We had a lovely conversation with him and Norma until the other guest arrived. Brandon was our driver and did a great job of telling us about island history and culture. We loved the monkey hangout and appreciated our guide, Isaac who made it fun. The snorkeling was exceptional!! Our captain was Will and Norman was our snorkel guide. We’ve snorkeled in other places in the Caribbean and were disappointed in the coral and lack of fish, but this was a 180 - tons of love coral, a huge wall of coral and thousands of fish. The boat ride was sort and the majority of our time was spent in the water. Norman showed us several sea creatures and he and Will taught us about the reef. We can’t wait to go back! Brandon drove us back and even took us by one of the only coffee roasteries on the island as well as a coffee maker. We got some one of a kind items for our family and really appreciated Brandon’s desire to share the local goods with us even though it wasn’t officially part of our tour. We loved the experience, Herbert, and how your support your staff. We’ve already recommended this tour to friend who will be traveling soon!

  

  

  

  

  

• Great Excursion

  This was the first time I used Viator for an excursion during a cruise port stop. It was very easy. We found the tour operator, Roatan Ocean Adventures (ROA), right away. Our driver, Keylie, was super nice and informative. Our first stop, the Monkey/Sloth tour, was an awesome experience! A monkey climbed on us, but we were not allowed to touch the sloths. The next stop was snorkeling. We snorkeled at 2 nice locations with beautiful crystal-clear blue water. There were a lot of colorful fish and even a stingray, however, sadly, the reefs did seem to have coral bleaching. Keylie waited for us at each stop and took us back to the port. We were fortunate to have her as our driver since she added pleasure to our experience.

  Our driver, Norma, provided great service, giving us lots of info about the local area. Had a lot of fun at the monkey and sloth sanctuary where Isaac was our guide, then made it to snorkeling where my partner and I had a blast. Saw so many fish and beautiful reefs, though our swim was cut short by turbulent weather. 10/10 would recommend

  Hands down one of the best excursions we have ever booked! Our driver Anne was beyond amazing and gave us a unique insight into the island! The sloths and monkeys were the highlight of our trip and my husband and I were the only 2 on our tour! We saw so much life while snorkeling and the reef was breathtaking! There were so many sweet cats and a dog to sit and visit with while we were waiting on another couple to join us for our snorkeling adventure. Then Anne took us to a local restaurant for lunch before we had to head back. Everyone we encountered has beyond friendly and caring. You did't just feel like a tourist being pushed along. We will always book with them in the future whenever we are back in Roatan!
