Venture into the desert for 2 hours on a guided off-road adventure to discover the hidden beauties of the south. Explore beautiful beaches, deserts, and the natural reserve of Sal from the driver seat of an automatic dune buggy. Venture through the salt flats of Santa Maria, surrounded by beautiful sand dunes, kite bech and much more. Group tour can include up to 16 people, with a maximum of two passengers per buggy.

This beach is famous because welcomes the kitesurfers during the winter, and the Loggerhead Turtles during the summer. In the winter season a lot of kitesurfers from all over the world come there to enjoy the waves and the strong wind. The summer season the crowed beach is replace by the Loggerhead Turtles who come here to lay the eggs
Serra Negra is the "Black mountain" located in the natural reserve of the east coast. From the the top of this mountain is admirable an amazing lunar landscape. At the base of the mountains there is one of the wildest beaches of Sal, which welcomes the Loggerhead Turtles during the summer

5.00It was a great adventure, we just loved the curves the hills and valleys the beautiful landscape and the helpful and fantastic staff! First we didn’t want to go, but now I say we would regret it if we skip it. Easy to drive buggies enjoyable track and field. We highly recommend it! 😃

5.00We booked this 2-hour buggy tour through Logan Tours with Mayara. A few days earlier, we had already done a full-day off-road tour around Sal through Logan Tours. Since we had already visited the island's main attractions, we deliberately chose the 2-hour buggy tour. We didn't want to visit the same places again. We simply wanted to spend as much time as possible driving, and this tour was exactly what we were looking for. Before booking, I contacted No Limits Adventure directly because I had a few questions. Unfortunately, I only received a standard reply that didn't answer my questions. I then contacted Mayara from Logan Tours. She speaks Dutch, answered all my questions and made the booking process easy and personal. One thing I really appreciated was that Logan Tours clearly states on its website that the buggy tour is operated by No Limits Adventure. I knew exactly who would be organizing our excursion. Full payment was required before confirming the booking. We paid through Mayara, who handled everything with No Limits Adventure. We booked the 1000cc two-seater buggy (€145). My sister drove during the entire excursion while I enjoyed the ride as the passenger. The price included hotel pick-up and drop-off, an overall, a helmet and protective goggles. The goggles are absolutely essential because there is a lot of wind, sand and dust during the ride. A face scarf is not included. You can buy one on site for €3 or simply bring your own. It isn't compulsory, but I strongly recommend using one because it keeps a lot of dust out of your mouth and makes the experience much more comfortable. According to the booking information, a bottle of water was included. We didn't receive one. It wasn't a big issue for us, but I wanted to mention it. The experience started with hotel pick-up. Before we even left the hotel, the driver asked whether the person driving the buggy had brought their driving licence. I thought this was a good first safety check. When we arrived at No Limits Adventure, they confirmed again who would be driving. The driver completed a digital registration form and uploaded photos of both sides of the driving licence. Everything was checked once more before we received a stamp on our hand. A special thank you to Nilson and Raphael. They were friendly, professional and very helpful from the moment we arrived. They helped everyone put on the equipment, including the overall, helmet and goggles. If you had bought or brought a face scarf, they also helped you put it on correctly. Next came the safety briefing. Participants were divided into Portuguese, English and French speaking groups so everyone could understand the instructions. After the briefing, everyone completed a short practice drive. The instructors could then see who already felt comfortable driving and who preferred a slower pace. The group was divided into two based on driving confidence. I thought this was an excellent idea because nobody felt under pressure. The organisation during the excursion was excellent. A guide on a quad bike led the group, a photographer followed us throughout the tour, and another staff member stayed at the back to help anyone who preferred a slower pace or needed assistance. There were several stops during the excursion where drivers could swap if they wanted to. My sister wanted to drive the whole tour, so we didn't change. One tip for future visitors: don't wait until the last stop if both people want to drive. The final stop is very close to the No Limits Adventure base, so there is only a short distance left after that. At the end of the excursion, we returned our helmet and goggles. One of the staff members even used an air blower to remove most of the sand and dust from our clothes. It was a nice extra touch. We were then taken back to the nearby office where we returned our overalls. Afterwards everyone who had booked hotel transfers was driven back to their hotel. Before leaving, the photographer asked if we wanted to see our photos. Since every buggy has its own number, he immediately found all of ours. There was absolutely no pressure to buy them, but we decided to do so because the photos were beautiful and are a wonderful souvenir of the day. Everything was organised professionally from start to finish. The safety, the equipment, the organisation and the friendliness of the entire team made this one of the highlights of our holiday. A big thank you to Nilson, Raphael, the photographer, the guides and the whole No Limits Adventure team. Finally, I would also like to thank Mayara from Logan Tours. After booking our full-day off-road tour around Sal and this buggy adventure through her, I can honestly say that I recommend Logan Tours 300%. If you're visiting Sal and want a real off-road buggy experience, I definitely recommend No Limits Adventure. We would happily do this tour again.

5.00Excellent experience with Rony and Primo, both super friendly and helpful. During the whole trip I felt safe and full of adrenaline. We also appreciate the attitude of Mr. Rony who took us some original photographs in the middle of the desert. I would recommend it to everyone.
