  We enjoyed hearing about life in Albania from our guide. However the mosque was only viewed from inside the car and the synagogue was a ruin, also viewed from inside the car. The view from the top of the hill was amazing but very hot. Most of the 90 mins was spent inside quite a hot car so that was less enjoyable but the guides were very friendly and flexible with pick up and drop off locations.

  We were three friends who booked this tour and got to see everything in Saranda. Ideal for someone passing quickly through the city and wanting to visit the most beautiful places. Thank you, Ermal.

  I booked this tour one afternoon while visiting Saranda and not having much time for long tours. With the guide, we learned a lot about the history of Saranda and enjoyed the wonderful view of the horizon from the old castle.

  I discovered some beautiful religious sites in Sarandë with the help of our very kind and knowledgeable tour guide. His stories transported us to an ancient, mysterious time. The Monastery of the Forty Saints is truly mystical. It was an extraordinary tour that I highly recommend.

  We visited churches, monasteries, mosques, and other religious heritage sites. More than their architectural beauties, the diverse history of this country amazed us. The guide told us these stories very well, interweaving them with personal experiences. Thank you!

  What an outstanding Viator tour of Saranda’s ancient religious treasures! Our guide was a true expert – passionate, eloquent, and full of fascinating stories about Byzantine churches, Ottoman mosques, and hidden monasteries that most tourists never see. The sheer majesty and preserved beauty of these sacred sites is breathtaking; centuries of history literally surround you. I was especially touched by how the tour emphasized Albania’s unique religious harmony – seeing Christian frescoes, Islamic calligraphy, and Bektashi symbols side by side in perfect peace was truly inspiring.
