We offer knowledgeable and experienced guides, German or English speaking and safe drivers , trained inhouse. We are passionate about what we do and where we do it and this can be seen and felt on all our tours. We have fun on tour, and are proud to share this beautiful gem with the world. This tour can be upgraded to a private tour, fancy food like champagne, oysters , and sushi, for anniversary or birthday parties, or other special occasions, contact us . We need two people to start the tour. A private tour an be arranged please contact us.

We collect our guests in the Harbour where your Ship docks with a name board with your name on it. We also have a tear drop Flag so we are easy to find
Our pick up times are scheduled around your arrival times. We will always uphold our bookings no matter what time the ship arrives.
Please note German guides are limited and we do not have the capacity to give everyone a German guide, These will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please note we can not guarantee a German guide on every tour!!
Should berthing times of The Cruise Liner change we will still be waiting for you had the Harbour
Ideally we want to leave the harbor as soon as possible. Please disembark to meet your booking departure time so not to uphold other guests in teh vehicle iwth you
Private can be arranged. Unfortunately, the other seats in the vehicle must be paid, so a minimum of 4 pax must be paid. Please contact us directly or by mail. Thank you
please note all Cruise Liner passengers, your tour pick up time starts an hour after you have docked. The tour will depart latest an hour and a half after the pick up time. Late comers are considered a no show

Walvis Bay Esplanade
Our first stop is at the Flamingos in the Walvis Bay lagune, we learn about them, why they are pink and about their habitat, then we drive past the enormous salt works and see the pink salt lakes. Further in the Lagune , which is a Ramsar site, we see the many waders and palearctic sea birds. The route takes us along the shore, past windswept dunes, seals and black backed Jackals, and harsh salt pans to where the Dunes meet the Ocean. .
The route along the shore takes us past wind swept dunes, black backed Jackals, seals and an array of sea birds. We see salt pans and vast open spaces, often with nobody in sight, and the dune belt that comes closer and closer, until it meets the sea. Entry into Sandwich harbour is often difficult and tide dependent, its Unique, its beautiful. Towering dunes on the left sea on the right. A rollercoaster ride takes us up to the high dunes and spectacular view point. The ambience is quiet and relaxed, its majestic and vast. We then go on an exhilarating dune ride and game drive, searching for what life the desert has to show, from the tiny shovelnose lizard, dancing on the hot dunes, to the ever hardened Oryx struggling to survive these harsh conditions. Along the salt pans back onto the shore to Walvis bay

5.00We had a really great day with Riaan. We drove safely and excitingly through the dunes. The trip was unique... the sea up to the dunes, picnic with delicious finger food. Great views... Sandwich Harbour... Riaan infected us with his good mood and told us a lot of interesting facts about Namibia and the landscape. We are very happy and grateful that we were able to experience this. Thank you Riaan and Team for these moments, they will always be in our memory. ☺️☺️

5.00Omg what an experience! Sandwich harbour is just an incredibly magical place. And the tour was levelled up thanks to Andrew, what an absolute legend. He was knowledgeable, witty and the best company. Always made sure I was happy, fuelled and hydrated. I couldn’t recommend the tour and Andrew as your guide more!

5.00We had a great tour guide in Riaan. He safely but quite adventurously took us through the z. T. steep dunes. He showed us very beautiful viewpoints and brought a local-style picnic. With his very good knowledge and humor, we had a great morning with amazing pictures. Thank you very much, and we would love to do it again!

5.00Japie is a wonderful guide, driver and companion. Took us for an amazing ride on the sand dunes with an overlook of Sandwich harbour while guiding us through everything. Felt really safe while driving in an adventures way. We also had our 2 year and 9 month old with us and she loved every minute of it.
