3.00This is my first audio guide The good; its pretty convenient and I paid about £/€ 7 for 24 hours access which seemed like enough, and I had access to a good light summary of information as I walked around. The less good - none of which were terrible, but combined it led to a rougher experience than I had hoped. Man, the AI voice - once you realise it you can't stop noticing it. It works well enough though there's a few parts where a human reader would have bene a tad less jarring, like at the end of every audio clip the tone of voice sounds like it's going to continue but it just stops. There's a comment on reddit from 2 years ago saying they're looking at this, and the swedish version is human read, but I don't really believe that they are going to do a non-ai voice for the English. There's a good amount of music and sound effects for various parts, which helps to bring you in. Someone could look at the levels of the sound effects as they were over the voice a bit much, and they seemed to have about 3 bits of music that they repeated for many of the clips. If you selected a location and asked to be taken there, you then couldn't listen to the audio, which to me seemed a bit poor, as often I wanted to pre-listen on my way there. If you were listening to a clip and opened another one (not started playing it) it stopped the clip you were listening to. I had a reasonably modern phone (Galaxy Z Flip 5, 8GB of ram) and occassionaly if I switched app and went back to the web browser, the map from Trales had disappeared, meaning I had to refresh the page to see the map again. Might be as I was using Firefox, I didn't try on another browser There was no option to change the default playback speed, so I had to select 1.4x every time I started listening. There was an error on "The National Museum, Stockholm, (slightly north of Skeppsholem)" Deep Dive, it seems they had loaded in a paragraph about the Krakow museum instead? I reported this, and you should message me if there is still this error (and also if there isn't - they offer 4 weeks free access if you report an error!) Finally, and this is quite an issue, if the blue dot showing your location is large (as it does when it's not certain of your location), and it covers locations, you *can't click those locations*. Quite an oversight and hopefully easily solved. I was using Firefox, and didn't test on other browsers. It's quite good, and more flexible than a guided tour, but at the moment I think I would just about recommend a guided one instead.

1.00Probably much better if you don’t do what I did and order the 60 minute one . But I tried to be organised and be set up before I left Odenspan and it was gone before I reached the first stop. I can’t believe 24 is much better if you can’t pause

5.00During a big family reunion, we were about 20 relatives, we walked all over the old town with Trales. I was the host for this part since I live in Stockholm, but lack all the information about the historical places. Trales helped me to show the guests from various cities in Europe, the highlights and my impression was that they were impressed by the Trales and the old town of course. A great event.
A modern and educational of audio guide that covered Stockholm in its entirety!

5.00Amazing coverage of Stockholm in this ambtious audio guide app. No download needed and we just followed our GPS to numerous top sights. What a great way to experience Stockholm. Loved all the stories about Swedish kings and the royal history.
