  Tomas was the absolute best! He was so knowledgeable, entertaining and kind. Really felt like we could just hang with and learn from him all day! He gave us a lot of history that we didn’t know about and of course showed us all the best places. 10/10 experience!

  ​⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable experience! The best guide we had in Portugal Making this Walking Tour by Sesimbra was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip. Sesimbra is a true hidden gem, with stunning landscapes and a fantastic atmosphere, but what made this experience truly exceptional was our guide. We had the opportunity to do several tours during our stay in the country, but this was by far the best guide we had in Portugal! Super attentive, extremely knowledgeable of local history and traditions, and with a contagious energy that captivated everyone from beginning to end. He gave us amazing recommendations and showed us corners we would never have discovered on our own. If you are close to Lisbon, do not hesitate to make this tour. I recommend 100%!

  It was one of the bests tours that I ever had in this beautiful town. I was with my family in Sesimbra and we booked this tour without knowing what we could expected. Tomas, our guide, was amazing, with great history knowledge, super friendly and, at the same time, really helpful with older people from the group, always taking care and ask if they needed help. Very very good and I really apreciated. Apart from this, I was overwhelmed with this town and it’s natural landscaping. Tomas knew all the answers to our questions and told us a lot of things about it Sesimbra and it was a very important port in the discovery age. Highly recommend this tour and, mainly, Tomas as a tour guide.

  Sesimbra is a gem of a town, full of beautiful streets — you turn a corner and there is a breathtaking view of the ocean that is so close! The tour included tastings of local pastry, cheese, and wine (all delicious — still dreaming about it), and a walking history tour of the fortresses, churches, and fishing way of life. Tomás also pointed out several spots that are popular now, such as restaurants, local gathering clubs, and new additions to the beautiful town. When it came to the guide, there is not one better than Tomás! I have worked in the travel industry for ten years, and he is one of the best guides I have met; he is very considerate of all members of the group when it comes to walking/interests, and extremely knowledgeable. If you are looking for a more local experience than what is offered in Lisbon, with an amazing guide in a beautiful coastal town, do yourself a favor and book this tour!

  Wonderful experience! Thomas and Leonor were super friendly and told us stories of the land that made the tour even more special. We felt very well received and was an excellent way to get to know the village better. I recommend 100% for those who want to know Sesimbra authentically

  I visited Sesimbra last weekend and scheduled with the Sesimbra Walking Tour and would choose countless times! Tomás and Leonor besides being very friendly and cheerful, they have a lot of knowledge about the whole history and provided us with a visit rich in knowledge and gastronomy! They gave us to taste the regional cheeses and wine. They were part of a very happy stay. Thank you and we'll be back <3

  This is the best way to see this part of the country. Our guide, Tomás, was amazing because he was a wealth of information about the history of Portugal and Sesimbra. He was so friendly, so knowledgeable and we loved Sesimbra! Very good wine, typical pastry and cheese.

  Thomás was among the most professional tour guides we have ever met. He was organized, prepared, and his tour was almost choreographed! He walked around Sesimbra with us as he explained the history, culture, and local commerce. He planned bathroom and water breaks as well as a sampling of local cheese, wine, and bread. He even recommended restaurants. He speaks english fluently. It was interesting to see that everyone in the town either knew him or his girlfriend and were thrilled to see him. He gave us a perspective that only a local could have provided. We enjoyed his tour so much that we decided to take his afternoon tour of the local commercial fish auction!
