5.00Highly recommend this walking tour of Kilkenny - Nevin was a fantastic guide and the 90 minutes were filled with history and interesting anecdotes. Nevin also kept things fun and light along the way.

5.00We landed in Dublin and this was our first stop. It was just what we needed to keep us up and moving and experiencing Kilkenny! Two adults, two college kids, a highschooler and a middle schooler. We all enjoyed it!

5.00⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Walking Tour of Kilkenny I recently brought the Appleton Boychoir from Wisconsin to Kilkenny and joined Nevin’s Shenanigans Walks tour. It was one of the highlights of our visit. Nevin strikes the perfect balance between history, storytelling, humour and audience engagement. His knowledge of Kilkenny is exceptional, but what really sets him apart is his ability to bring the city’s characters and stories to life. From William Marshal to Alice Kyteler, every stop was delivered with energy, passion and plenty of laughs. As a professional tour guide myself, I know how difficult it is to hold the attention of a diverse group, but Nevin made it look effortless. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the experience and came away with a much deeper appreciation of Kilkenny’s rich history. If you are visiting Kilkenny, do yourself a favour and book this tour. Highly recommended.

5.00The tour guide was informative and entertaining. The walk starts at the castle and takes you to several stops along the way. The tour loops back on itself some and ends somewhere in the middle of the distance, which prevents having to walk all the way back to the starting at the end of a long tour. This tour made the trip the day in Kilkenny worth it.

5.00Enjoyed the city walking tour of Kilkenny with Nevin Cody. Our walk was part of day tour out of Dublin and we really lucked out getting Nevin for the time in Kilkenny. The walk was both informative and entertaining. Highly recommend this walking tour of Kilkenny!
