4.00Great guided tour with an Italian guide who spoke good English. The group was a bit too big for our liking - maybe 25-30 people. Was hard to keep up with the guide at times. But definitely recommend visiting Pompeii with a guide. The place is huge and would be difficult to navigate on your own. Our guide was very knowledgeable which was very helpful. Be prepared for the heat and no shade if you go in the summer months.

5.00This was a great way to see Pompeii without getting overwhelmed. We did a half day tour which was perfect for us. It was super hot but Nell and Lulu took great care of us! Lulu was so knowledgeable about the ruins and the history, she was funny and likable and engaging. She also found all the shady and breezy spots! Highly recommend!

3.002 hours is just not long enough. We didnt get to see the museum or the amphtheatre

5.00Meeting point was in the center of the Main Street and piazza in town which was easy to find and get to. We then walked a few minutes to get to the bus before our 45-60 min air conditioner bus ride to Pompeii, our guide Nello gave some background and fun facts along the way which was nice. Once we arrived we had 10 min to get a snack, drink, or use the bathroom, then entered and our tour began. The tour guide you meet in the am (for us it was Nello) is not your guide for the tour itself, you are handed off to an archeologist for the tour which was nice. The tour itself was great, informational and fun, and our guide Monica was wonderful-she said she’d been doing it 32 years or so and you could tell by how knowledgeable she was. Bring lots of water, highly recommend an umbrella to keep out of the sun but if not definitely a hat and maybe a fan because everything is exposed to the sun with few spots of shade. There wasn’t too much physically exertion, but some people definitely struggled with moving in the heat and the uneven cobblestone ground.

3.002nd time taking this tour, missed a lot of the parts from the first time we went on the tour, and didn’t see the amphitheater again! Such a shame as I can imagine this to be one of the most impressive things at the site

5.00This was a great highlight tour of Pompeii if you have limited time to spend to see it & you want to learn somethings & get an overall taste for the ruins & their history. Our 2 guides, Nello, on the bus, & Isabella, at the ruins, were both sweet & informative. A nice quick overview of Pompeii.
