5.00The tour of Kylemore Abbey was absolutely amazing. The landscape during the drive to the Abbey was stunning. The sheep dog demonstration was exceptional. Plus we got to play with some of the 10 week old puppies which was a big hit with the family. Our guide, Richie, was very knowledgeable and ensured we did not miss anything.

5.00We had a fantastic day with Lally tours. Richie was the best - knowledgable, friendly and gave us terrific background info as well as super helpful practical information for us to make the most of our time at Kylemore and the gardens, since there is so much to see. And Joe and his border collies were an absolute highlight - amazing to get a glimpse into their world.

5.00Wow, this was an incredible day! I couldn't recommend this tour more highly. The drive through Connemara and all the stops on the tour were beautiful. Michael was such a lovely tour guide - he made sure the whole tour went smoothly, had great stories and information to share, and was a pleasure to spend the day with. The schedule was planned so well for a relaxing day in nature and enjoying all the spring baby animals. Kylemore Abbey was beautiful, and it was lovely to walk around the premises as well. The connemara pony and her 3 week old baby were lovely, and their minder told us so much about the ponies and their lives at the abbey. We drove through some beautiful valleys and past the fjord which was breathtaking. Michael stopped at all the beautiful viewpoints so we could take pictures. We got to snuggle with the adorable puppies at the sheep farm, and watched the impressive display from the adult border collies. And we were able to feed the lambs as well. I could have not have asked for a better day and highly recommend booking this fantastic tour!

5.00The bus ride is comfortable and Michael, the driver and guide is a safe driver and very knowledgeable. The views are spectacular throughout the tour. He took us through some small towns and told the history. Kylemore abbey is stunning. But you’ll just be allowed to tour the downstairs. The gardens are lovely, the lunch was very tasty at Mitchell’s. The sheepdog demonstration was very entertaining. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.
Five stars. Highly recommend!

5.00Absolutely amazing tour! Our guide, Michael, did an excellent job of sharing insightful information about the different areas we drove through on our way to Kylemore Abbey and then Joyce Country Sheepdogs. Kylemore Abbey was beautiful. We had a couple hours to explore freely and snag lunch. Then, we went to Joyce Country Sheepdogs where Joe introduced us to his dogs and gave a demonstration. Absolute highlight of the trip to see the dogs in action! Can’t recommend enough.

5.00What a great day to visit the beautiful Connemara area - even in the drizzle! Michael was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the area and kept us entertained as we traveled. The stops at Kylemore Abbey and Joyce’s sheepdogs were well worth the time and money! Highly recommend this tour and Michael!

4.00Connemara is a beautiful place and our driver offered nice commentary. Kylemore has an interesting history and can be heard by a staff member in the house. The sheepdog demo was excellent. Joe is the farm owner and he is a delight. The dogs are rockstars.

5.00Torch’s was out driver and tour guide for this amazing experience and she was wonderful. This is an all day trip and is so worth it. Kylemore Abbey and the gardens was so beautiful, as was the drive through the mountains and fjord. But the highlight was the Joyce sheepdog farm with lambs and puppies. Then we stoped in Cong to see where the movie The Quiet Man took place. It’s a long day but I can’t recommend this tour enough. And definitely ask for Sorcha. She is a fabulous driver and wonderful tour guide. This tour was a highlight of our trip to Ireland!

5.00We really enjoyed our day with Michael our tour guide. He provided us with lots of history throughout the tour. We did find Kylemore Abbey very busy and difficult to move through all the visitors to see the displays. Although we had about 2 and a half hours we still didn’t feet that we were able to see all that was offered and to sit for a bit of lunch.
