See this wonderful Unesco world heritage site from a different view point. We operate in small groups and include all transport within the session. We make it hassle free. Meet and our centre "Riverbanc" and we'll do the rest. From start to finish you'll be in very safe hands. You'll learn how to navigate your canoe, learn some facts about the Aqueduct and generally have a great time. Book with confidence.

A UNESCO world heritage site you'll experience this as it's meant to be, from the water's edge. We will transport you from our center and along with our instructor you will experience the wonder of this amazing venue. During this 2 1/2 hour session you will be guided along some fantastic sections of the Shropshire Union Canal finishing over the Pontycysyllte Aqueduct.

5.00What an amazing adventure! Ryan was friendly, knowledgeable, reassuring, and genuinely great company throughout the experience. The scenery and activities were fantastic, and paddling over the aquaduct was absolutely unforgettable. I have vertigo (a real fear of heights), and I want to reassure anyone who feels the same — it wasn’t a problem at all. The views were so incredible that it was completely worth it. We’ll definitely be returning to try more of the experiences offered by Whitewater Active. It was clear to see how seriously they take safety, their depth of experience and knowledge, and their genuine commitment to protecting the environment. This company really has its priorities in the right place.

5.00Such a great experience for my sister and me to celebrate her birthday. Emily was a wonderful guide, warm, relaxed, safe and knowledgeable. She even taught us how to say Lloyd in welsh! Thoroughly recommend. The views are also incredible!

5.00We had never been canoeing before and what a fantastic instructor Ryan was! He was friendly, kept us chatting and most of all we felt safe and looked after throughout. Would definitely recommend Ryan and Whitewater Active - we had a brilliant time 👍🛶

5.00We had a lovely trip canoeing down the canal and over the viaduct with Ryan. He was super friendly and knowledgeable and made the trip really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone considering it.

5.00Great instructors, lots of fun and a memorable trip. We did this as two adults and two teenagers. And dispute the occasional hail and rain they both enjoyed and didn’t complain.
