We've travelling around Sri Lanka and had a really good experience. From the moment we started the trip, everything went smoothly. Our driver, Thushan, was easy to communicate with and always made sure we were comfortable during the journey. The roads between destinations can be long, but having a careful and experienced driver made a big difference. He was happy to stop whenever we wanted to take photos, grab a snack, or simply enjoy the views. What we appreciated most was how reliable and friendly he was throughout the trip. He was always ready on time and gave us helpful suggestions on places to visit and things to do. Overall, it was a memorable trip, and we are glad we chose Thushan as our driver. We would definitely recommend him & his company to anyone in Sri Lanka.

Our family (I, My wife, My daughter & Son) recently completed a 14 days tour around Sri Lanka with LANKA TRAVEL DIARIES, and we had a very enjoyable experience. We visited many different parts of the country and got to see beautiful beaches, mountains, wildlife, historical sites, and local villages. It was a great way to experience the diversity of Sri Lanka. A special thank you to our driver, THUSHAN, who was with us throughout the trip. Traveling with family, especially with different ages and interests, can sometimes be challenging, but he made everything much easier. He was patient, friendly, and always willing to help whenever we needed something. One thing we appreciated was that he never rushed us. If we wanted to spend more time at a place, take photos, or stop for a break, he was always happy to accommodate us. He also suggested a few places along the way that were not on our original plan, and some of those became our favorite memories from the trip. The vehicle was comfortable and clean, and we always felt safe during the long drives. THUSHAN was punctual every day and maintained a positive attitude throughout the two weeks. It was clear that he genuinely cared about making sure we had a good holiday. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with amazing scenery and welcoming people, and having a reliable driver made the experience even better. We are grateful to LANKA TRAVEL DIARIES for organizing such a smooth trip and for providing excellent service from start to finish. We returned home with many great memories and photos, and our family thoroughly enjoyed the journey. The trip was very complete; we visited many places, which, although it made us spend many hours traveling in the car, was totally worth it. What I liked the most was the connection with local people, as most of our outings were with small businesses, which made us feel that this type of tourism is socially responsible. The driver was very professional at all times, being on time for our outings, listening to us, and attending to our requests kindly. Thank you, Thushan! Without a doubt, we recommend this tour, as it is a great way to get to know Sri Lanka in a short time at a fair price, in a safe and comfortable manner.

We had vague plans of what to do with our time in Sri Lanka, but didn't know how to put them together to make it a memorable trip for the family. We contacted Thushan who personalised our trip. A much better itinerary was put together, adapted to meet our needs with options to add more activities (an extra safari etc). Recommendations of where to stay, booking of tickets, and lunch/dinner options were also part of the package. Communications were prompt and effective. We were met at the airport, local SIMs available if we wanted (very cheap and good coverage). The car was comfortable and always safely driven. Longer journeys were broken up with stops at various attractions (tea plantations, waterfalls, lunch, wildlife spotting, drinks, monuments etc) We had an amazing time, all based on Thushan's planning, organising and advice. Highly trustworthy and definitely recommended!

We enjoyed our 6-day road trip in Sri Lanka very much. Thushan the proprietor contacted us as soon as we booked the trip and was helpful with our trip planning by giving advice on where to visit. The early and frequent communication was appreciated. During our trip we had Pathum as our driver-guide, who took us from Colombo to Sigiriya, then Kandy, Ella, Yala, Galle and back to Negombo. As a guide Pathum was very friendly, and would tell us stories about local towns and people’s lives. He was willing to accommodate our requests and gave us lots of recommendations, and always gave us the flexibility to decide what we want to see and do. As a driver he was always punctual to pick us up, and he drove very safely and skilfully, especially when we were exploring the hilly countryside around Kandy and Ella. Our trip was packed and required lots of driving, but Pathum handled it with ease and was always professional. We wouldn’t be able to see so much of this amazing country without him. Overall it was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend booking driver-guide with Lanka Travel Diaries if anyone wants a flexible and fun trip around Sri Lanka.
