Crossing Tahiti Nui by Safari 4x4 offer the possibility to discover a rich and green landscape, with lots of water and waterfalls. The green side of the heart of the Island will amaze you.
Tahiti is the largest island in French Polynesia, Mana is present in the heart of the Island!
We take the only road who allow us to see Vaihiria lake, the largest natural lake on Tahiti.
The landscape, mountains, valleys, plants, rocks and rivers are wonderful places to disconnect, to recharge and to fill up with good energy.
Pickup time confirmed one day before the tour.
Food Lunch not included, we can stop at a store or snack to buy by yourself your lunch OR you can bring it by yourself.

Tahiti
Your guide will make you discover Tahiti's centre during the crossing Island tour. You could admire the lush vegetation, the fauna and flora, the rivers and waterfalls. A swim is planned at a cultural water point and filled with Mana, the ancestors' energy. He will talk you about Maohi people, his roots, he will make you feel Tahiti's heart Mana. Several stops are planned where your guide will share with you the knowledge and usefulness of the plants. We will take our time for photo stops of places, waterfalls and viewpoints. A tasting of seasonal fruits with a cold drink will be offered to you on the second part of the crossing. The tour is done in good weather and in rainy weather.

5.00Incredible day - Rainui is passionate, direct and lives for the valleys of Tahiti. This trip was an amazing and, at times, terrifying experience that will stick with us forever. The landscape is other-worldly and the immersion was incredible. Worth every dollar.

5.00Amazing tour full of lessons about the history and culture of the area. Very beautiful mountains and waterfalls as well. The guide was very funny and answered all of our questions. He even cut up fresh fruit for us at lunch. We didn’t feel rushed at all and felt very safe the entire journey.

5.00Rainui, our safari lead did an excellent job sharing with us the magnificant wonders of the Tahiti Island. Besides experiencing the breathtaking landscape, Rainui shared with us many stories about the Tahitian people and their culture. We learned about the plants and animals on the island, saw beautiful waterfalls and visited ancient sites. All and all, an unforgetable experience.

5.00This trip was so cool and totally worth it!!!! We came while they were still reconstructing the last 1/4 of the road due to a landslide that had previously happened, and Rainui (our guide) was very helpful in letting us know ahead of time what the situation was, and even offered us a full refund if we decided we no longer wanted to go despite the cancellation policy! Even though we did not see the last 1/4 of the road, we still got to see so many breathtaking views and amazing cultural sites. Rainui even added on an extra site for us to stop at. We got to hear so many fascinating stories and learn about all of the plants and animals on the island! Our guide Rainui was absolutely amazing and a great time!! He was so accommodating and hilarious and answered any and all of our questions! If you do this tour, you MUST do it with Rainui and this company.

Driving slowly is a huge advantage: it allows you to fully enjoy the scenery, live in the moment, and admire every detail of these beautiful valleys. The legends told are fascinating, captivating, and add even more depth to the visit. You can feel a true cultural richness and a great love for Tahiti through every story shared. 5.00My wife and I have done many tours through the years but this one ranks up amongst one of the top ever. Absolutely beautiful hillside with an amazing owner and our guide named Riainui telling us so many great stories about his culture and history of the land! You will not be disappointed! 5.00A long and extensive tour of the center of the island. Beautiful scenery and safe drive. Bring swimsuit towel. The guides take you to a place before the tour to grab sandwiches for lunch. Several stops as you drive the road that bisects the island through a crater.

5.00In spite of the cloud covering and frequent showers of rain, the guide and driver presented an interesting and unhurried experience. Interesting information and personal reflections, an array of fresh fruits at lunch time prepared as we ate, the good humour of both guide and driver made for the good vibe of our day. We are glad we travelled with this provider to see this part of Tahiti Nui.
