Discover Lake Wolfgang from the air on a classic tandem paragliding flight from the Zwölferhorn in St. Gilgen. This experience is ideal for first-time flyers, couples, families and friends who want to experience one of the most beautiful views in the Salzkammergut.

Your experience starts at the flight school Salzkammergut, right next to the valley station of the Zwölferhornbahn. There you will meet your local Pro pilot, receive your equipment and receive an understandable safety briefing.

You only have to walk a few steps to get started. Once you're in the air, your pilot will fully control the paraglider. You do not need any prior knowledge and can enjoy the view over St. Gilgen, Lake Wolfgang, the surrounding mountains and the Salzkammergut.

Each passenger flies with their own pilot. Up to 4 guests can book the same time slot – ideal for couples, families or small groups who want to share the experience together.

You will meet your professional tandem pilot and take the Zwölferhorn cable car to the 1,522m high Zwölferhorn in St. Gilgen. After a few running steps at the start we fly from the Zwölferhorn over the turquoise blue Wolfgangsee and the Salzkammergut. Your pilot will show you the most beautiful mountain peaks, the lakes of the Salzkammergut from the air and will do a few more spirals and wingovers with the paraglider if desired. After 10 - 25 minutes flight time we land safely on the landing field in St. Gilgen.

What an unforgettable special experience. We dropped into the office on our way to the lake as my husband wanted to enquire about a flight. Next thing you know we both said we will do it although I was nervous at first, Andy and Julie made us feel so welcome and at ease. I never felt unsafe and they both were very professional and caring. What a once in a lifetime experience, a perfect warm sunny day with the most amazing scenery, all my fears quickly disappeared and I am so grateful that I decided to do it. Both my husband and I said it was the highlight of our trip. Thank you Andy and Julie for an amazing experience.

It was fantastic. My 5th. Flight in wonderful summer weather and fantastic distant vision. My pilot the Andy was mega. He did rock 'n roll with me on demand. That was an indescribable feeling when the umbrella was among us several times. Thank you Andy.

Such an incredible experience and one I won’t forget. The staff are so friendly which made flying in the air such fun. I was so nervous but put at ease quickly. The views are breathtaking

Clearly recommended! Great staff and everything is perfectly explained. Very safe feeling in the air. Photos after that are mega too. The clear highlight are the sporty curves! Great experience all around.
