Taroko Gorge
Enter Taroko Gorge through the archway first. This large archway, inspired by traditional Chinese palace architecture, is located at the south end of Jinwen Bridge where it meets the Central Cross‑Island Highway. Its six-character inscription, written by the famous modern calligrapher Mr. Wang Chuang‑Wei, has become the highway's emblem since it opened. Today, it also functions as the entrance to Taroko Gorge, acting as both a landmark and a popular photo opportunity.

5.00Wonderful tour! Jack was an excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable tour guide. The ride was very comfortable. Jack took us to so many beautiful sights and provided lots of info about the gorge. Would highly recommend this tour!

5.00This was a private tour, actually I was the only one in the tour. Caleb was my tour guide and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable about sites, history and everything in-between. Taroko gorge is amazing and we visited as much as was possible given the construction repairs after the earthquake (about 3 years ago). I highly recommend it!

5.00Taroko Gorge is a spectacular spot. We enjoyed seeing a different side to Taiwan. Our guide and driver, Jack, was informative and fun to travel with. The private tour allowed for a very comfortable trip that we were able to tailor to suit us. Beautiful scenery.

5.00Jack was a fantastic tour guide. Always attentive, informative, and knowledgeable. He knows all the spots to go and all the right ways to get there. Although the hiking trails in the park are closed post-earthquake, it is still open for driving tours and small stops along the way. Absolutely gorgeous and definitely worth it.

5.00It was a wonderful day seeing Taroko National Park and other sites on the east coast of Taiwan. Jack was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and helped make the tour memorable. We highly recommend this tour even though it is a long day.

3.00Very long day, mostly driving. 3 hours each way, + driving locally. Gorges are nice but not worth the distance. People should stay at least a couple days on site, and perhaps do local activities (beach, hiking)

5.00My partner and I had a great time on this tour. Even though all the trails were closed due to the big earthquake in 2024, our tour guide, Steven, was still able to show us quite a few good spots to explore and take photos. Steven was very friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and didn’t rush us and let us take our time to enjoy the beauty of Tarako Gorge National Park. Highly recommended.

5.00Taroko is a must see! We were going to explore taroko without a tour guide but we were so glad we booked a tour instead. Since the earthquake, there are many places closed and the road is very precarious. This tour such an awesome experience and so personalised. Our guide's name was Chouly and she was so good, knew a lot, took lots of great photos of me and my partner and was so considerate. Book this tour!

5.00We had an outstanding private tour to Taroko Gorge and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide was prompt, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly knew all the best spots for photos and local food. He made the entire experience smooth and comfortable from start to finish. We would highly recommend this tour and would absolutely book with them again.
