The extremely wealthy eccentric Betty Brown’s spirit is forever roaming the elegant halls of Ashton Villa. Many have seen Betty wearing a turquoise dress and carrying a fan during lavish event held at the mansion. Even death can’t keep Betty from being the life of the party…and scare the guests half to death.
One of over 200 historical markers on the island, this is the former residence of Olga Samaroff who is known to still haunt the home until this day.

4.00Tyler was great! Our kids loved the stories. It was not too scary for our kids, 10 and 14. He also had pictures to verify some stories which was a nice touch.

5.00The humidity was 100 percent as well as the guides! 100 percent good time. Family enjoyed the stories and a history lesson of the island. Highly recommend!

4.00The tour guides were great, Lady Saelym & Blake. We had a HUGE group. I feel like the larger group detracted from the ability to catch all of the stories, we moved pretty slow, and may not have been able to enjoy the full experience compared with a smaller group. Lady Saelym and Blake did a fantastic job keeping everyone together and doing their best to be sure everyone was able to enjoy the experience. The stories and history were fantastic. Their photos were great.

5.00This is hands down the best Ghost tour in Galveston! Combining history, old death, new crime, and humor, our guide Lady Salem was amazing. Taking us through the steamy streets of Galveston, mixing in stories of murder, ghosts, Demons, yes....DEMONS. Tour lasts about 90 minutes, and feels much shorter as you're engrossed with stories of old Galveston. Absolutely fabulous tour, would walk again and again
