This classic Santa Fe food and drink adventure is focused on historic downtown Plaza neighborhood. Explore Santa Fe by foot while sampling the best in local food and beverage. Along the way, you’ll learn about the city’s long and fascinating history, with an emphasis on how Native, Hispanic, and Anglo cultures shaped – and were shaped by – the region’s unique (and delicious!) food culture.
This tour is designed with adventurous eaters in mind and includes a variety of restaurants, and is NOT focused exclusively on New Mexican food. We bring you the best of Santa Fe, which includes a diverse array of cuisines.

Wear comfortable shoes as this is a walking tour. Moderate amount of walking required -- tour is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) long, but spread out between the four stops. YOU MUST BE IN GOOD WALKING CONDITION TO ENJOY THIS TOUR
It is recommended that you eat a large, late breakfast the day of the tour; expect enough food to replace lunch and likely require only a light dinner later in the evening; but also keep in mind the first tasting stop begins no earlier than 1:30pm.

5.00The tour took us to four excellent restaurants near the plaza and combined local culinary and cultural history with eating and drinking. Guide Lauren, a professional chef with a great sense of humor, is a lively and knowledgeable guide.

5.00Our guide, Lauren, took us on a thoughtful and informative tour of some of the best tastes and sips in Santa Fe. Lauren is incredibly knowledgeable about the Santa Fe culinary scene and the history of New Mexico. She is also funny, irreverent, and is clearly a favorite of all of the restauranteurs, and the cellar door vendors we visited. The walking between food and drink experiences was well timed to make sure you never felt too full - as well as giving time to discuss Santa Fe architecture and history. This tour was really a highlight of our trip to Santa Fe. Highly recommended!

5.00I had a great time on The Original New Mexico Sip and Savor Plaza Tour with Lauren. It was really fun and informative. She really pushed us to drink water which was awesome since I'm a really bad water drinker and have had problems with high altitude sickness in the past. You get plenty of food and lots of yummy drinks. I would highly recommend this tour.

5.00What a fun afternoon. Lauren is amazing - knowledgeable, funny, relaxed, a little irreverent ... she made the afternoon so much fun. Nice lite tasting dishes and margaritas and champagne at the various stops. We learned a ton about Santa Fe history and cuisine. A great way to hang out with an accomplished chef and fun tour guide for the afternoon.

5.00Lauren is a fantastic guide - she is funny and energetic. She clearly loves Santa Fe and knows and supports the local businesses. Our group of 7 loved the mix of places we visited, which included one of the best margaritas ever. Lauren was also generous in sharing guidance on other things to do and places to eat while we were in town. I very much recommend this tour!
