5.00Amazing Experience Tour guide (so sorry ive forgotten her name) was lovely. She was very interesting we learnt a lot that we didnt know. The walk was easy on mainly flat ground. Opportunity to sit along the way so suitable for anyone.

5.00A fantastic informative walking tour around Stratford taking in the local sights and history. The stories told, without giving too much away, were intriguing and sometimes horrific but all very interesting and we as locals learned a fair few things we didn't know. Our Guide was super knowledgable and entertaining. Would highly recommend this tour of Stratford to really get to know the area well and for just a really fun activity before you head off for dinner!

5.00A fascinating glimpse into the hidden stories of Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, beautifully brought to life by our brilliant tour guide I took my mother-in-law on the Twisted Tales tour at Shakespeare’s birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon, a place we are lucky enough to have on our doorstep. Although we know the history of Stratford Upon Avon quite well, this tour offered a wonderfully different perspective. Alongside the familiar stories, we discovered fascinating lesser-known tales, including some of the darker and more mysterious chapters that are often overlooked. The storytelling was engaging and atmospheric, bringing the past to life and reminding us that behind the beauty and charm of historic places there are always more complex stories waiting to be told. A beautifully crafted experience — intriguing, memorable and a wonderful way to rediscover a place you think you already know. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike , you may think you know the stories, but there are always new tales to discover!

5.00I adore history and love going on tours especially anything to do with my beautiful town of Stratford upon Avon. Stratford has so much history especially about one of the most famous play writers William Shakespeare I wanted to go on a tour that was heaped with history but had a modern take to it and Twisted Tours certainly gave this. The tour was enjoyable, entertaining, captivating and enchanting. A perfect way to spend an evening and to find out new tales of this stunning town and about Mr famous William Shakespeare. I would highly recommend this tour absolutely incredible outstanding one of the best I have been too.

5.00This was honestly the best tour I have ever ever done. I am someone whose mind drifts off when someone speaks to me for a long time, in this 90 minute tour, Jez, the tour guide had me HOOKED every second of it. His ability to story tell is fantastic! I thought I knew a lot about Stratford, was I wrong! Not only did I learn so so much, but was entertained every second of the tour, from laughing to having my jaw dropped, I could not recommend it anymore!!! Will be coming back absolutely

5.00Living in Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon is right on my doorstep, so taking a guided tour isn't something that had ever really occurred to me. However, when a friend from Texas (who I met through our book club) came to visit and wanted a historical experience in Stratford, I knew I wanted to offer her something a little different rather than just showing her around myself. She had actually visited Stratford before, so we were both looking for a fresh perspective. When we discovered The Twisted Tales tour and read that it would be conducted without mentioning Shakespeare by name, we were immediately intrigued. From the moment the tour began, Jez was fantastic. He was animated, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable, reeling off fascinating facts in a way that never felt scripted. What really stood out was how naturally he adapted to questions and conversations along the way - a sure sign of an excellent tour guide. Rather than stopping only at the obvious landmarks, Jez took us to some wonderfully unexpected places and shared stories we would never have discovered on our own. Of course, there was plenty of Stratford's well-known history, but it was always layered with hidden details, local legends, and surprising insights that made everything feel fresh. The tour struck a perfect balance between humour, darker tales, and historical storytelling. I particularly appreciated that it explored Stratford across different eras rather than focusing solely on Shakespeare's time. It gave a much richer sense of the town's history. By the end, I felt less like a visitor looking in and more like an insider who had been let in on Stratford's secrets. Both my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I would wholeheartedly recommend The Twisted Tales tour to anyone looking for a unique and memorable way to experience Stratford.

5.00What an incredible tour, this is what Stratford needs! Something completely different to any tour I’ve been on, the storytelling was so good, very clever and well thought out, I’d recommend going with Twisted Tales to anybody, it’s perfect for all age groups. We talked about it all the way home, I’d do it again in a heartbeat. You can tell that a lot of effort has gone into the tours, and the guides are so passionate about what they do. We were fixated from beginning to end. Absolutely brilliant!!

5.00A lively and entertaining walking tour of Stratford-upon-Avon delving into the darker side of this historic town, with tales of dastardly deeds and ghoulish happenings - all without mentioning Shakespeare’s name until the very end, when with a sweep of the hand all the pieces fall in place! Jez, our guide, delivered the stories with theatrical aplomb keeping his audience of all ages spellbound. Highly recommended!
