Departing from Bilbao or San Sebastián : live an unforgettable day through three of the most iconic destinations in the French Basque Country: Biarritz, Bayonne and San Juan de Luz. A complete excursion combining history, coastal elegance, traditional architecture and local cuisine.
We start in Biarritz, a city of aristocratic air and spectacular views of the Atlantic. We will visit places like the Grande Plage, the Casino, the Hotel du Palais and the church of Sainte Eugénie, with free time afterwards to enjoy the surroundings.
We will continue to Bayonne, where we will take a guided tour of its historic center, including the City Hall, the church of San Andrés and the Gothic cathedral. Then you will have time to have lunch and explore at your own pace.
We close the day in San Juan de Luz, a charming fishing village where we combine a short guided tour with free time to stroll, shop or relax.

3.00Walking tour not advisable if there’s a heat wave . They should offer other alternative. that’s tolerable. The guide should choose a place that’s is shady to explain about the place not over expose to sun.

5.00With Aitor, we had a very friendly and competent bilingual (Spanish and English) guide. The three locations of the tour, Biarritz, Bayonne, and Saint Jean de Luz, were very well chosen. The time in Biarritz and Saint Jean de Luz was a bit tight, in Bayonne it was good, but probably unavoidable. Overall, a truly beautiful tour.

5.00The guide Daniel, was great and very informative. He is multi lingual and spoke English and Spanish. His English was great. He was very nice and the bus was clean and comfortable. The driver was also great, smooth ride. You need to be in good physical shape and able to walk up and down hills and stairs to do this tour. The tour is advertised as 2 hours in two of the places, but it was less time, especially the last stop, which was only 50 minutes. The tour company should correct that information on the website. The places were absolutely beautiful and overall it was a great tour that I highly recommend if you want to see some quick sites of the French Basque Country. I recommend the tour company think about cutting one of the three stops and add more time to the other two stops so you have more time in each of the other places. Definitely recommend and the price was very reasonable. Thank you Daniel for a great experience!
