Welcome to our must-see excursion, Trollstigen, The Land Of The Trolls. This is a 6-hour- and 40-minute trip with many breathtaking photo shoot stops. We offer 7 stops.

5. Our first stop is Kokarsteinen A place where travelers had to stop for some food or a rest or seeking shelter in the old days. Look for the stone construction. Restrooms available when open cafeteria, NOK 10 per guest.
10. ViewPoint by the sea On our way to ViewPoint by the sea, we pass the old Rose Church in Stordal. Built in year 1789. Another fantastic ViewPoint close to Liabygda. Down to the left, you can see a salmon fishfarm, to the right, we see the town Stranda where the Grandiosa pizza-factory is located. Across the fjord, we see the fjord going to Geiranger and Hellesylt. Up on the mountain to the left, you can see the mountain farm Skrednakken. This is the farm our Norwegian Queen Sonja visited some years ago. Don't forget to take some nice photos.

5.00Our guide, Morten was excellent. He’s professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The van and the ride was so smooth even though it was such a difficult and narrow path. I who easily get motion sickness didn’t feel a bit as Morten is a great experienced driver. The van conditions is great and we all sat comfortably especially there was only one more lady besides the two of us. We felt like the VIP 😄 This arrangement is way better than a big bus. I went for one yesterday and I felt nauseous afterwards. The places Morten brought us to were beautiful and memorable. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Ålesund. A must do. Thanks Morten and it was so nice meeting you.

5.00The only thing I would change is to add more brief stops. This drive included even more stunning views than we stopped for. There’s enough stops to allow for purchase of food or drink and use the restrooms. Our guide provided valuable knowledge about the area, which you can’t get if you were to drive yourself. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of renting a car, so this was perfect. When we arrived at the Trollstigen viewpoint, there was so much fog that we couldn’t see anything, but wait a few minutes and the clouds lifted to reveal the road and valley. Just stunning.

5.00Truly amazing views around this region of Norway. Great tour with very well planned out stops. We seemed to be just ahead of the larger tour groups and were given plenty of time to explore the Troll Road area. Highly Recommend!!!

5.00Our guide was great. The tour was fun and informative. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t the best but that’s no fault of the tour just Mother Nature! I recommend this trip.
Troll road via vans

5.00We were pleasantly surprised to find that we would be on mini vans traveling in a caravan, as opposed to being on the bus. Taking that Troll road on a bus, looked a little bit daunting, and the views from the van were excellent. We also enjoyed all of the stops, the history, and the suggestions on what great food items we need to try at each location.

5.00We had a wonderful day exploring. Trond was an exceptional driver and guide, seamlessly balancing our travel time with plenty of stops at the best viewpoints. He really made sure we had ample time to capture fantastic photos along the route. Would highly recommend.

5.00Excellent tour of beautiful Trollstigen! Vonce our tour guide was wonderful and informative! We had a lot fun. We had a lot of fogroll in but were still able to see a lot of beautiful waterfalls, lakes, etc. 5 stars!!!
