There are seven awe-inspiring UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Kathmandu Valley. Dating back over 2000 years, the UNESCO World Heritage Sites rank as some of the finest in architecture and spirituality in all of Nepal. We know you want to see them, but what can you do when you are strapped for time? Himalayan Advisor is the first company in Nepal to develop a one day tour of all seven of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites guided by top-notch information.
The day about 12 hrs but can strict time on your request. Travel by private car for the fastest time between sites. This trip includes all UNESCO 7 world heritage sited listed inside the Kathmandu Valley.

Swayambhunath Stupa "The Monkey Temple," is located on the top of Kathmandu. It has 365 stairs to be actual that contains you to the top for the exceptional view of the city itself. You can locate many small shrines and souvenir shops on the way to top with monkeys roaming around freely. You are free to take pix on the road, and some monkeys would possibly pose for a photo too. As the top, you will see a sizeable gold-plated thunderbolt (Vajra). It is one of the intriguing monuments there. Also, right next to it is the large white dome with a cubical top. You will also see many prayers wheels of special sizes nearly in every section around the Swayambhunath.

You can go around the stupa spinning the prayer wheels, and you will even see many Hindu temples and deities that co-exist in concord in this Buddhist site. Along the way, you will observe many other shrines, stupas, gravestones, and offering places. Then you will head in the direction of the western boundary of the Swayambhunath. You will see a sacred pond stuffed with coins and many human beings attempting to toss the coins in the core of the small pond. Vendors are found around the location with many Thanka arts and stunning souvenirs. On attaining the western side, huge statues of Buddha can be found. You then will walk around the hill and find many prayers wheels of distinctive sizes nearly in every phase around the mountain.

5.00This was a well designed tour program because it gave a wide variety of culture, history, civilization, and religion. Our Tour Guide Shanti Karki as knowledgable and friendly. She took a good pace, allowing us exploring each place thoroughly I got our own pace. As an extra bonus, she is a very good photographer, knowing where exactly which spot would be the best for photos. Overall speaking this tour is an excellent way to learn about Nepal. If you don’t have a lot of time to stay.

5.00This tour was fantastic and highly recommended for anyone traveling to Kathmandu for a short period of time. Both the tour operator and the tour guide were in contact before the tour and available to answer any questions we had in advance to help prepare (for example, about weather expectations and what clothes to wear). The tour itself was very comprehensive and our guide Shanti knew the history of the sites extraordinarily well. The driver was safe and reliable and knew their way around. I strongly recommend this tour for you if you have only a short time to visit and want to get a full experience of these heritage sites in and around Kathmandu!

5.00Had a great tour of Kathmandu and the surrounding area led by our guide Shanti. She was very flexible allowing us to linger or take photos when we wished or to move on to the next site more quickly as we wished. Shanti was very knowledgeable and so the trip was really interesting. This tour seemed to be the best itinerary when I booked and it was amazing how much we crammed into a day. It was good to visit a couple of key sites in the surrounding area and not just the main ones in Kathmandu. This was a great introduction to Nepal.

5.00An exceptional day! Each site is a real wonder and an enchantment to the eyes. Discovering them with a local guide as enthusiastic as Pankaj was a real joy. For each place, he gave us historical insights, architectural details, religious explanations indispensable to understand what we saw. It was dynamic and alive! Together with his colleague, the driver of the vehicle, they formed a really effective team. Every time we went out, we made a phone call and within a few steps we were back in the car despite the traffic density and the very few parking spaces available. We really felt like we were taking the pulse of the city during that day. In addition to historical or religious sites, we had time to visit some of the must-see markets: pottery, wood, metal or stone carvings, painting... Craftsmanship bordering on the artistic! Clearly, it would have been impossible for us to see so much of it on our own and under such good conditions. We leave with lots of pictures and memories in our heads. We recommend this experience with enthusiasm!
