5.00Mario was a fantastic tour guide for my mom, sister and me. He was a wealth of information and past school teacher which enabled him to answer any question and cover all of Maltese history in a digestible way. As a citizen of Malta, he also gave a glimpse into their politics and way of life that gave even more depth to the tour. I would recommend Mario to anyone who wants to learn about Valletta ground up. This was well worth investing in a private tour.

4.00The actual tour with Mario was incredible. He is a local guide and former history teacher who generously shared his knowledge of Malta with us. However, Viator had sent us an incorrect meeting place. After several texts and snapshots of where Viator indicated was our meeting point, the local company confirmed it was not the place they start the tour. It took thirty minutes of our private tour time to locate our guide and a lot of frustration. I have occasionally received a confirmation text from the local company or guide 30-60 minutes prior to the tour--that would have helped tremendously.

5.00We had a great tour of Valletta with Matthew as our guide. He provided us a detailed history of Valletta and Malta along with some very insightful and thoughtful commentary on contemporary Malta. In addition to seeing a lot, we learned a lot. We very much recommend this tour and Matthew as a guide.
