Van Gogh is one of the most iconic and extraordinary artists, that we all know for his very special sense of shape and color creating the mysterious universe. Together with you, we would like to dive into his marvelous world!

In order to be able to understand his ideas and its effect on us better, we will get back to his diaries, letters to his family and brother Theo and facts from his biography.

Together with you we will explore how his technic, style and, most importantly, personality have been changing during the whole life.

We had a group of 4. Hanna had a wealth of knowledge on Van Gogh and the history of the time. She was also very patient with my 11-year-old nephew, making it a positive and memorable experience for him.

Hanna beautifully quoted Van Gogh throughout, bringing his thoughts and feelings to life in a way that deeply resonated with us. We were so inspired by her insights that we bought a copy of “Life According to Vincent” from the museum gift shop. Highly recommend Hanna for an enriching and inspiring tour!

Our guide, Ralph De Lange, made the whole experience come alive at the Van Gogh museum. He had stories and recollections that were personal and a perspective that comes from being an artist himself. In addition to being flexible, accommodating, polite, funny, interesting and helpful with suggestions for finishing out the day in Amsterdam. I HIGHLY recommend this tour and this guide. Money well spent.

Hanna has an amazing knowledge base regarding Van Gogh’s life, and delivers her insights and information about the artist with this amazing context others may not provide. As a result of the tour with Hanna, we left the museum with a deeper appreciation for the tormented man that created the works of art we love today.

Such a great tour! Hanna our guide had a wealth of information on Van Gogh and art history in general, she was lovely and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone going to the museum to really get the most of your visit.
