4.00Versailles Palace was soectacular but had only 30min for the gardens which are more breathtaking than the Palace. Would have liked more time in the gardens instead of so ling inside the palace. Three hour tour would have expected more time to stroll outside as the day was sunny and warm.

2.00We had this excursion planned a year in advance. The meeting place that was provided was wrong...it had not been updated on viator. We missed the train and the tour. Very disappointed.

2.00We met the tour guide at the cafe and then took public transportation to Versailles. We got a train ticket to go back on our own. So essentially you’re paying for a guide to talk art history with you. You can totally do this tour on your own as long as you plan and book tickets ahead of time. Unless you’re into history- then you’ll want an expert. The basic Audio guide and going on own own would’ve been way cheaper. Lesson learned.
