  Did not receive experience. Notified by Viator I was confirmed for Watkins golf carts. Received tickets and reminders including day of. Got there at about 9am and told that we didn’t respond to email from operator so they refunded our money and sent us away. I never received an email from them. At 11am I received an email from Viator indicating that the tour was refunded. Time is short in Grand Turk. This was lost time with poor service and since we didn’t have a reservation we wound off on a poorly maintained golf cart. Bad experience all around.

• No total refund for ship not docking because of bad weather.

  I booked a golf cart for the day. My ship could not dock because of bad weather. I ask for a refund and was only returned a partial refund. It was out of my control and should be, in my opinion, a total refund.

• Easy way to see Grand Turk

  The carts are a short walk outside the cruise terminal gates (10 min or less). There was no signage but it was easy to find and locate which cats were for Watkins. Alll the golf cart companies are in the same area. Watkins had our name on the list and it was super easy to hop in the cart and leave. They had a map if you ask for it. We filled our cart up with gas before we returned it. The cost to refill the tank was $8 and there is a gas station very close to the parking lot where you return the cart. Street and direction signs on the island are sparse, but with the map we were able to find our way around. There are donkeys everywhere. The lighthouse was interesting with beautiful views from the grounds to the sea. The old Navy base was visible but there is no access to the old buildings.

  This is the WORST company to book with. There was no signage to indicate where/who to check in. There were at least a dozen companies. The cart wouldn’t accelerate without using the gas pedal and choke to move. Absolutely NO BRAKES! When stopping at a stop sign to move again, gas pedal, choke and then a LOUD backfire that scared my children. We turned it in after an hour due to how poorly the golf cart ran. I would not recommend anyone to the company. No map or information provided when we met the attendant.

  Our golf cart was junk and broke down on us. When they came to get us they were very rude. Would not recommend

  Port call was cancelled on the morning of arrival had no way to cancel reservation. Viator was great to use in past bookings

• Golf carts

  The island had no WiFi so couldn’t contact the operator as the directions that were on the instructions were not clear and we couldn’t find them so missed out on even using the golf cart. We asked around and people the workers said we had to go outside the gate. Very upsetting. Wouldn’t recommend.

  It was a great day on the island. Just know you can not take their golf cart past the guard station.

  I was given wrong information online when booking. They said they would be on the gangway near the port for drop off and pick up, they were about a 20 min walk away. I was told $10.00 to give for gas and when we got there they changed it to $15.00 and asked for a tip.

  We had to walk out of the port to get the golf cart. Directions were not very good. Golf cart was sturdy.
