  Fantastic medieval city of Wrexham. Lovely tour guide. However, if you are expecting a Wrexham AFC tour, this is not the case. Advertising is slightly misleading.

  Fabulous, informative and a pleasure to meet our tour guide. Everyone was so friendly and kind. My favourite part was all the murals.

  Kim did a great job explaining the history of the town and Wrexham AFC. You can tell she really cares about the town and its history.

  Beware....This is more of a tour of the city of Wrexham and not a Welcome to Wrexham tv show tour. Yes, the guide points out different places of interest along the way (example: Ryan and Rob grab coffee here as you've seen on the show or this mural was seen on the show in the first season) but we spent hours walking through town visiting churches and learning about Wrexham's coal mining history in great detail to come to the end of the tour and be taken to the football grounds to be told that they were doing construction and we wouldn't be able to see the field. We were told we could take pictures from about 100 feet away through a chain link fence blocked mostly by construction diggers. The tour guide then said "If you had read the fine print you would know that seeing the football grounds is never guaranteed"..... When we got to the team store next to football grounds (with no view of the pitch) many of our group, who were die hard fans of the show, were so deflated and disappointed- that's when we saw that the construction was not even anywhere near the football field but still no viewing. Another thought about the tour - many people come to Wrexham just for the day from other places that they are staying (ex: Liverpool or Chester) and the guide walks you past several restaurants suggesting places for dinner etc....It would be wonderful for the guide to ask up front is anyone is even staying in Wrexham overnight when the tour starts - to better read the group and know if 10-15 detailed restaurant descriptions and recommendations for dining options in town are even necessary. Our tour went over and lasted almost 3 hours. This tour could be (and in my opinion should be) shortened to about one hour. Wrexham is a lovely place with very friendly people but tourists are coming to focus on the show and it's attractions not to learn that you can get a great croissant at this corner bakery.

  Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour. We even happened to see some current and prior players at the end. We enjoyed finding out more about the history of the area.

  Best experience to have in a small town with rich history. We booked this walking tour the morning of a Wrexham AFC match and it was the perfect way to start the day. There was every reason for the guide to cancel our tour as it was only my husband and myself on the tour. We were given the VIP treatment and had a ball. I would recommend anyone that enjoys history, futball or the show Welcome to Wrexham to take the time and learn all about this amazing place.
