This popular activity runs from June to October on Saturday and Sunday on the River Tummel and is suitable for those aged 16 and above. The day is guaranteed to be both exhilarating and adventurous.
Rafting on the River Tummel offers an unforgettable experience in one of Scotlandâs most scenic countryside. You can enjoy the thrill of navigating rapids, while also basking in the stunning natural beauty around the Clunie and Loch Faskally area of Perthshire. A haven for visiting walkers and cyclists alike who enjoy the trails in this area.
Originally from New Zealand, River Bugs have crossed the oceans and hit the UK shores! River Bugs are giant inflatable armchairs that allow our guests a great way to play on the river and have a river adventure unlike any other.

Splash River Tummel White Water Rafting is situated just north of Pitlochry. Pitlochry is in Highland Perthshire Scotland. The River Tummel is like no other in Scotland. The rafting experience will get you working together with our guide. You need to guide the raft from the beautiful deep pools, down through technical rapids such as Zig-Zag and Sharks Tooth. The main part of the trip is Grade II/III. This prepares you for the final âpiece de la resistanceâ: a two-tier, 18 foot drop (Grade IV) rapid. This drops into the mystical Loch Faskally where we float away from the falls towards home reflecting on the rivers power and beauty. River Bugs are 1-person rafts that look like giant inflatable armchairs and are perfect to those looking for a unique adventure experience on the  River Tummel. River levels in the summer means River Bugging is ideal for those looking for a little more excitement on the river. Splash has pioneered River Bugging here in Scotland and as such we are the most experience provider of this fun outdoor activity. On the day youâll receive expert instruction from our experienced river bug guides and weâll even provide you with your own webbed gloves. Weâll also be on hand to help you negotiate your own path down the white water rapids.

5.00Great afternoon doing river bugging with Kamal. Clear instructions given and really fun water sport. Got to do a couple of rapids a few times which was exciting. All equipment was provided and in good condition. Really enjoyed ourselves!

5.00Fantastic experience, thanks to our guide Mylo , who shared all his experience in making our trip safe and enjoyable, and yes we got wet , we were in the water but felt safe at all times. The scenery down the river is worth the trip alone , the rapids weren’t too exhilarating until the end, but great for a novice. My wife and I came for a birthday treat and had a great Sunday morning, I would highly recommend this .

5.00I with my friend had 2 rafting trips: River Tay and River Tummel. Both itineraries are great. If you have never done rafting before you can try firstly River Tay: it is more laid-back, beautiful landscapes around, so you are more enjoying the surroundings than dealing with river itself. River Tummel is more extreme but still for beginners so you would be alright. Team of Splash Rafting is amazing. They will give you all necessary guidance. As we traveled by public transport, when went to second river - River Tummel, guys gave us a lift from and to train station what was very helpful as it takes 1 hour to walk. I can definitely recommend Splash Rafting team.

5.00Amazing 2 hour white water rafting session on the river tummel. Great service delivered by the team, excellent safety talk before entering the water, 💦 . Great team exercise to work together and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Excellent instruction throughout and throughly enjoyed the experience. Will return without doubt. 10/10 team Splash!
