White Water River Bugs are a fantastic new exciting activity. Imagine rafting but on your own. Close to the water, you'll get a unique experience of the river. This is a truly unique experience that'll get your adrenaline flowing. You need an average level of fitness to fully appreciate this activity. You will be swimming on your "bug" either face first or sitting up using your legs for propulsion. We give you webbed gloves to aid steering and movement. You can guarantee you will have a good time in this session.

River Bugs are small inflatable crafts with an inflatable tube at each side and an inflatable backrest. You will either sit upright between the tubes or put the backrest down and lie on your front. You will be given swim mitts and these will be your means of steering whilst navigating the rapids of the river. This session is a great introduction to the world of bugging and whitewater. No experience is needed but you do need to be able to swim. During the session, you will be given a full safety brief and all the necessary equipment.

5.00Great activity and a great laugh! Really simple to book and entertaining throughout. Price is good for the amount of time you spend in the water. Zack/Zach was engaging and hospitable and all other staff we happy and friendly!

5.00Went on the penultimate day of the season with my brother for a belated birthday celebration. There were 6 of us taking part that session. Aaron led the river bugging brilliantly, explaining what we were letting ourselves in for, making sure we all knew what to do, leading us down the rapids and collecting us when we needed. His humour, expertise and helpfulness made him a perfect leader for the activity. The river bugging was great fun and scenery stunning. The equipment kept us warm enough even at the end of October and it was an exhilarating experience.

5.00Amazing experience for my cousins stag do. 11 of us in 2 rafts. Brilliant staff, clear safety instructions and an exhilarating journey down the Dee which was high and fast. Would recommend to anyone!

5.00Brilliant day on the River Dee with Whitewater active. we did the river bugging activity, was so much fun, our instructor was great and let us choose the more challenging sections of the river whilst teaching us how to navigate the rapids. scenery was great and the sun helped!
