Our seasoned river guides will be waiting for you at the Bearded Men Adventure Hub, here you'll be kitted up in our changing rooms and given a safety brief before we drive you to the starting point at the famous Horseshoe Falls.
You'll be fully guided for the duration of your River Tubing adventure by our experienced team.
Once on the water and after some proof that you can float, we'll head down the twisting and winding rapids of the River Dee.
There are three major rapids on our route, do not fear our guides will be on hand to steer you through them all.
The most famous is Serpents Tail, a tick off for most aspiring white water enthusiasts.
You'll have the option to run the same rapid twice or for the faint hearted there is always the option to avoid the rapids completely.

Fantastic visit for a stag do!

5.00We went on the rapids river tubing on Saturday 27th June as a group of 8 who were on a stag do. We arrived and were greeted by staff who gave us a quick briefing before we headed up to the water. We were told how to operate the river tubes and how to keep safe on the water so not to hit any rocks etc. our group was joined by 3 other people who were very chatty and we all made the experience enjoyable for each other. Mike and Sol were extremely knowledgeable and they accompanied us on kayaks to ensure we were safe and also kept up the banter and chatted to us all the way down the river too. The rapids were amazing and the trip balances out with a mixture of both extreme white water parts and also relaxing parts where you can just chill out and let the tube move you down the river. After the activity was finished we were taken back to the main building by minibus and got our personal items back that were safely stored in a locked container. 10 out of 10 experience and we will definitely be back!

5.00What a great time we all had this weekend, Canoeing across the the Aquaduct, Tubing & then Rafting down the white waters into the town. All the team were excellent, including the brilliant photographers who captured my tumbles and laughter. Definitely coming back for more in the future. Jason deserves a beer for his patient listening skills alone!

5.00My husband and I had a fantastic river tubing experience in Llangollen with Bearded Men Adventures! Our brilliant guides, Sol and Jack, looked after us exceptionally well from start to finish. I was initially quite nervous, but their experience, clear guidance, and regular check-ins completely put me at ease. Thanks to them, I could relax and fully enjoy the adventure. Both Sol and Jack are highly competent and experienced in water sports who ensure you stay safe while having maximum fun. I highly recommend Bearded Men Adventures to anyone looking for outdoor fun. It is perfect for families, birthdays, and hen or stag parties. Thank you team - we will definitely be back!

5.00What a great experience! Really fun and value for money. 3 hours was the perfect amount of time. Our guide Flynn was really lovely. He had a lot of expertise and confidence which put our minds at ease. A great way to see wildlife and scenery along the river Dee.

5.00We had a lovely time tubing with our guides Callum and Flin. Flin did a great job explaining what the expect on the trip and what to do before we got on the river. When we were on the river Callum help to demonstrate the line we were aiming the tubes, not that you had any control once you were in the rapid 😄. In between the rapids on the calmer water Flin set us some chalanges to do which was a lot of fun. Overall a great day would definitely recommend.

5.00Had a quality day on the river for my stag do. Nathan and Becky were brilliant, full of local knowledge, and made sure both groups wwre well looked after and had a great time. Would defo recommend and cant wait to come back

5.00Me and my partner did the river tubing with bearded men’s adventures for my fellas birthday. We had Sol and Jack and I was initially really nervous, Sol and Jack was super attentive and made me feel at ease without judgement. After the nerves passed I realised how much fun it was that’s when Sol and jacks personality really shone. They made it so much fun and had us laughing constantly, the river tubing was absolutely amazing and I would recommend anyone to do it, I was expecting to be in the water for around 20-30 mins but it was actually 1.5 hours.so you definitely get your moneys worth. Once again thank you so much Jack and Sol you were both amazing and we plan on coming back when my arms have recovered ahhaha.
