Our guest will here the role the church played in Beaufort's History from its founding in 1712, they will see the grave yard from the carriage and hear about some of Beaufort's founding fathers, & soldiers who gave there all who are buried there.

5.005 star review! The best hour I’ve ever spent. There is so much history in Beaufort that I didn’t know. I just loved it. And I love the way our guide talked so beautifully about the way the horses are treated like family.

5.00Highly recommend this carriage tour! Anna and her horse Linc were our guides. Anna provided a very animated, humorous and informative narrative of homes and history as we rolled along beautiful moss-draped streets. It was obvious she is well-liked and well-known in Beaufort, because there were lots of times where she exchanged friendly greetings with homeowners along the way. We live in Charleston and always take our guests on great carriage tours there, but Anna has them all beat with her wonderful personality!

5.00Wow, this is something you definitely don’t wanna miss doing when you’re in Beaufort South Carolina. Having moved here just recently I went on the tour. We learned so much about Beaufort. The tour was very informative, comfortable and fun. We got to see so much, and learn so much about the neighborhoods downtown and more importantly, the history of this beautiful town. Rose was our tour guide and she’s a native of Beaufort And she really enjoys helping us understand the key role individuals made in the town of Beaufort. Another aspect when I was researching which tour to take I respected how Rose and her team take care of their horses. She loves them like family. They work every other day, only three tours a day and get the summers off away from the heat of the low country. This is really a successful business model, and for anyone who loves horses as I do you really appreciate the love and care they get. Come and enjoy downtown Beaufort with Rose and Southern Rose buggy tours, they’re the best.

5.00This was the best 1 hr tour we’ve ever been on. Tyler and her horse Link were very informative with great and sometimes comical commentaries. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn a little history of Beaufort along with many laughs!
