Maasai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked from your hotel at 8:30am for a journey south along the floor of the dramatic Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara National Reserve. Also known as 'The 7th Wonder of the World' because of the Great migration, witnessed every year between June and September, when millions of wildebeests and zebras cross Mara River from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. With a stop for lunch at Narok Town, you will arrive at the Masai Mara National Reserve in time for an afternoon game drive where you may have a chance of seeing the ‘Big Five’, different varieties of birdlife and the best savannah vegetation in the world. This is serene vast country of breath-taking vistas, a panorama of vast rolling plains and rounded hills, of intermittent groves of acacia woodlands and dense thickets of scrub. The famous Masai tribes people also live within the game reserve.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Mara, home to an abundance of wildlife including lions, buffalo, rhinos, hippos, and more. After a picnic lunch by the Mara River, continue your safari in search of more animals. At 5:00 pm, visit a Masai Village for a nature walk, cultural entertainment, and dinner. Overnight in Chui Camp (Budget Package) or Mara Sopa Lodge (Lodge Package). Optional: Sleep in an authentic Masai-style home at the campsite.

After breakfast, drive to your next destination: the legendary Serengeti National Park. Its vast plains are home to extraordinary wildlife, including cheetah, leopards and lions. The National Park also hosts of one of the earth’s most surprising wildlife spectacles, the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. Ngorongoro Crater

Start the day with a remarkable sunset and an early game drive, perfect for spotting predators on their morning hunt. Enjoy a delicious brunch and go on another game drive, on your way to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's most iconic natural wonders. Enjoy amazing views of the crater, have dinner, and get a good night's sleep. Ngorongoro Crater

On the last day of your safari, get up early and descend the 600m high wall to the floor of the crater. Keep your eyes open to see its surprising wildlife. If you are lucky you might even catch a glimpse of the endangered rhino. Have brunch at the hippo pool before returning to Arusha.
