Upon your arrival at La Aurora International Airport, you will be welcomed to the vibrant and modern Guatemala City. Afterward, we will transfer you to Antigua Guatemala, a colonial city declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pacaya Volcano

Pacaya Volcano is one of the most accessible hiking options in Guatemala, ideal for both beginners and experienced enthusiasts. The ascent is relatively easy, taking between 1.5 and 2 hours depending on your preferred pace. During the hike, you will have the opportunity to see numerous petrified lava rocks, and at some points, you will feel the residual heat from the volcano, which is perfect for a unique experience: melting marshmallows on the hot rocks. From the summit of Pacaya Volcano, you will enjoy spectacular views of other volcanoes and the impressive landscape surrounding the area. Chichicastenango

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll embark on a unique cultural and natural immersion in Chichicastenango. The adventure continues with an exciting canopy experience at Cerro Chuiraxamoló. There, you can zipline along two canopy lines, one 150 meters and the other 400 meters long. Lake Atitlan

Semuc Champey

According to Mayan beliefs, navigating through the underground river of these caves symbolized the journey of souls to Xibalbá, the Mayan underworld, in search of immortality. The park is surrounded by hills and contains more than eight distinct caves, each with unique formations and sizes. Tikal National Park

After exploring the Candelaria Caves, we'll head to Tikal for an overnight stay. The next morning, we'll rise early to continue our adventure. During your visit to Tikal, you will stay at the Jungle Lodge, the first hotel within Tikal National Park. Tikal National Park

Additionally, we will visit the Ixpanpajul Natural Park, located on the outskirts of Flores and Santa Elena, Petén. This nine-square-kilometer park offers the opportunity to walk along trails and cross-hanging bridges, from where you can enjoy panoramic forest views. The long and impressive hanging bridges of Ixpanpajul offer a 360-degree view, ideal for birdwatching and observing other animals in their natural habitat.

Archaeological Park and Ruins of Quirigua

After breakfast at the hotel, get ready for an unforgettable day beginning with a journey on the serene and beautiful waters of Río Dulce. This splendid destination is known for its warm climate and stunning landscapes that stretch amidst lush vegetation. One of the most popular activities here is kayaking, available at various points along the river, allowing you to explore the natural beauty of the area up close. Later, we will continue to the Ruins of Quiriguá, an impressive archaeological site belonging to the ancient Mayan civilization. Located in the municipality of Los Amates in Izabal, northeastern Guatemala, these ruins are a crucial testament to the rich Mayan history. Quiriguá, playing an important role as one of the most significant sites of this culture, has been recognized as a World Heritage Site, and visiting it, you will be able to see firsthand the majestic stelae and sculptures that have endured through the centuries.
