  I warmly thank the people who have given me the contact details of the Guide with whom we have just spent 13 days in Uzbekistan. It was our first experience with a local Guide spotted on the forums. As one person we met in Nurata told me: "with local agencies and guides we always found more than we expected". I fully agree with that remark! Thanks to our English and French Guide Qahramon Tashtemirov and the Salom-travel agency in Samarkand who has adapted to our wishes and allowed us to alternate discoveries of the great historical sites and hikes in the mountains in the north and south of the country!

  Hello, I'd like to give you a shout. Whether on the agency where I booked my trip, and my several attempts at boomerang contacts. Phone or email. Radio silence, no courtesy back. My trip is coming soon. Check-out knowledgeable directed. I go back to pick up my travel diary and make a remark about my 7-hour wait in Istanbul. Telling him that a commercial move would be most appropriate, to allocate me a Pension Room at the airport. What didn't I say there!!!!!! You leave alone, it's normal that it's expensive, it's me who has chosen the schedule of the plane etc etc...... The trip also costs more than 3300 euros!!!! Do not forget that it is people like me, who pay salaries etc etc etc. Before phone for more information on the course of this circuit arriving in the afternoon, making me miss a morning visit.   A wonderful journey with Kahramon. A guide at the top who does the best to satisfy us. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Kahramon immersed us in the history of this country rich in history and local customs, all in excellent French. Chourik, our driver, was on top too.   A very nice trip very well planned thanks to the professionalism of the agency The guide and his driver are a kindness, listening to us, a kindness constantly. The team at our little care, good advice without counting. A cultural trip to several cities that are breathtaking and very detailed explanations of the guide.   Wonderful trip in Ouzbekistan with Salom Travel! It was my first time in Central Asia and surely not the last one as they also propose travels around (Kirghizistan...). Everything was great. First, they answered me very quickly by email and Whatsapp. I was travelling alone and everything was done to make me feeling secure and enjoying my trip. Ouzbekistan is a very safe country and the hospitality of the population is unique. They planned the trip following my desires : to discover the authentic country. I visited the beautiful cities and even slept by ouzbek families and met a lot of lovely people. If you want to enjoy your trip, let it the hands of this professional team. You will only have one wish, like me : to come back again! A big thank you to Qahramon, the best guide ever, extremely kind, smiling and caring ! By the way, they have different guides in many languages.

  We crossed Uzbekistan from Khiva to Tashkent in 11 days with a driver and guide. Uzbek cities are beautiful: Khiva, Bukhara, Shakhrisabz, Samarkand and finally Tashkent. All different and all superb cities, wonderfully restored monuments, and friendly and welcoming population. What more can I ask?
