Our small group (4-11 Guests) will depart Melbourne and head straight to the famous 12 Apostles before the masses of people arrive. Here we will take a 1km stroll along the boardwalk while appreciating the stunning views of the limestone stacks before continuing onto Gibson Steps. We walk down the 70m cliffside pathway to the beach where there is plenty of time to take some incredible photos.
Next it’s time for a delicious lunch at our favourite local cafe before we’ll drive through the magical Great Otway National Park and take a short hike through ancient rainforests to one of the Otways' pristine waterfalls (where the big bus companies can’t go).
Our next stop we will take a stroll amongst the giants of the forest at the Californian Redwoods before continuing along the iconic Great Ocean Road stopping at Apollo Bay for an optional ice cream. Kennett River is next where you’ll get the chance to spot native koalas, king parrots & kangaroos going about their routines.

Awesome Tour - Recommend Doing in a van.

5.00This was a great tour. It was a small group of only 5 people, which made it very nice. While a long day, we had a lot of great stops in this spectacular part of Australia and never felt rushed. Our guide, Tessa, was excellent. She is a wonderful driver on some windy roads. She really knew this area like the back of her hand. The Great Ocean Road has to be one of the best drives in the world. Recommendation: this tour was great because it was a van vice a bus. With the small parking lots and windy roads, I highly recommend this tour or an operator that uses a van or advertises “small group”

5.00Beautiful scenic views, and sightings of native animals and birds. While settings of koalas and kangaroos were not guaranteed our guide went out of her way to to locate them. We saw kangaroos, Wallabies, cockatoos, magpies, and Gallah birds. 12 hours seems like a long day, but it is broken up with scenic drives for rest and relaxation., short scenic walks, and an Awesome lunch at The Perch with delicious food and views of native birds. Our guide Jayda was enthusiastic and made the day very enjoyable. Thank you Jayda

5.00We very much enjoyed our tour. Jayda was an excellent tour guide brimming with all sorts of Australian knowledge. Her driving was safe and measured. The sites were all outstanding!

5.00Tour guide Jayda, brilliant! Cruise day, casual , fun, positive m, happy vibe. The young gal ( guide$ charges the day with effervescence! 12 Apostles, I’m my humble opinion, one of the worlds most sensational nature phenomenon, I have ever seen! The van we took was clean, new, air conditioning was brilliant, also had some fresh air with the windows down at times! Lovely way to spend the day, I’d you want a chillaxed kind of day, with mind blowing scenery! If Jayda ever gets a bad review? It will never be her that’s the problem, it will be the passenger! 5.00We had a great time with Jayda on this tour. She’s friendly and informative and made it very interesting. The landscape we saw on the drive was a great way to get to know this part of the country. The 12 Apostles, the great lunch..(where I spotted three new birds!!) many koalas, kangaroo.. and a beautiful long scenic drive back along the Great Ocean Drive made for a lovely day. We even stopped for a walk through a temperate rainforest which was just beautiful.

5.00A definite highlight of my week in Melbourne! Storm and flood damage caused most of the Ocean Road to be inaccessible, but the team at Hike & Seek did well to make adjustments and ensure that it was still a full day of exploration and experience in this little corner of Australia. LOTS of koala spotting!!! Totally the energy and vibe of hanging out with pals, and our guide Jayden was supreme to lead us, set the tone, and share stories, facts, trivia, and laughs. We got a good look at things unique to this region, and the lunch spot was high caliber. Excellent communication, nice new van, plenty of time off the van, and a good bite of what amazing-ness Australia has to offer. Would love to do a deeper dive with this crew on another outing… soon, I hope!
