  I just returned from an Everest Base Camp trek organised by Master Himalaya, who were recommended by a friend. From the very beginning the organisers were welcoming - we were picked up at the airport, driven to our hotel, briefed on the trek ahead, and they accompanied us to do last minute shopping for supplies in Kathmandu. Very well organised. Special shout out to our guide Tenji who was wonderful. Super friendly, always positive, went at out pace, and got us up and back safely. Fantastic guide and human being. Also big thanks to Santos our porter, without whom we could not have completed the trek. When we got back, the organisers were very generous in letting me keep the down jacket they have provided me for the trek. Wonderful experience, can't recommend them enough :)

  

• Just go with MH, you won't regret it!

  If you’re thinking about doing this trek or any trek with Master Himalaya, don’t overthink it. Just go with them. They won’t just take you to your destination. They’ll walk with you through the hardest parts to get there. Just three months after my ABC trek, I found myself back in Nepal with MH again, this time doing EBC. I requested the same guide I had previously, Tenji, and once again, the experience from start to finish was smooth and well-organised. Due to regulations in the Everest region, we had a different porter this time, but that didn’t affect the experience at all. It also turned out that our porter Santosh could speak my native language! The trek itself was incredible, but also challenging. I struggled with altitude at several points, and my pace slowed down significantly, especially on steep ascents and descents. Throughout it all, Tenji stayed right by my side. There’s a running joke with him: whenever you ask how far is left, he’ll say “just 10/20 minutes”, which usually means double or triple that. It sounds funny, but in those moments, it really helps mentally. It’s his way of keeping you going. Despite the challenges, the entire journey was memorable. The team took great care of us and the experience didn’t just end at the trek. MH organised a farewell dinner where we get together with their team members Sam, Dikshant and again with Tenji where we received a certificate of completion. I have no doubt I’ll be back again, whether in a few months or a year.

  Everything about this was amazing. We were shown through the country, and they went above and beyond to accompany us. 5/7 of us didn’t make it to base camp due to altitude sickness and other sicknesses, but they were quick to assist with the med evac and also created another itinerary for us to look at while the last two finished base camp. Very welcoming and hospitable. A special mention to Anuraj, Anmol (uncle fruits), Sanjit and Kriti.

  I did the 14-day Everest Base Camp trek with Master Himalaya and it was easily one of the best experiences of my life. From start to finish, the company provided outstanding service and made sure I was well looked after every step of the way. The team was incredibly friendly and professional. Huge thanks to Anuraj, Sanjeet and Uncle Fruits for making the journey even more special (and especially our guide Goku— their warmth, humor, and local knowledge brought the whole trek to life.   My trek was not for faint of heart. I was looking for a good challenge and this trip proved to be just right. Well supported excellent staff spartan but more than adequate food and facilities. In particular Master Himalaya staff were outstanding every step of the way from meeting me at the airport, mid trek check ups and post trek support. Staff were outstanding in every regard.
