Drepung Monastery (Zhebang Si)

Yamdrok Yumtso Lake

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Yamdrok Lake, the lake lies several hundred meters below the road, and in clear weather is a fabulous shade of deep turquoise. It is one of the four holy lakes of Tibet, and the home of wrathful deities. Walk on the lakeside to enjoy the natural beauty. Drive back to Lhasa in the late afternoon. Chongqing

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, transfer to airport for flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival, transfer to Chengdu train station. Take a train from Chengdu to Chongqing. Transfer you from the train station to the port. Pre-board the cruise ship and overnight on board.

Fengdu County

Start the cruise on the Yangtze River with a stop at Fengdu, the City of Ghosts. Back to the boat to continue the cruise.

Chongqing Qutang Gorge

Cross Qutang Gorge and board a small boat on the Daning River, where you will catch a glimpse of the three small gorges (this excursion might be replaced by another one). Return to the cruise ship in the afternoon and cross Wu Gorge.

Xiling Gorge Scenic Resort

Breakfast on board. Cross Gezhouba Dam after passing the last gorge, Xiling Gorge. The cruise ends in Yichang. Transfer by your private guide and driver to Yichang train station. Dinner will be by yourself at the train.
