Discover the Moroccan Sahara with an unusual overnight experience in the desert.
Departing from the village of Mhamid El Ghizlane, enjoy a 2-day and 1-night excursion to hike on the back of a camel, listen to the silence of the desert, admire a sunset, walk in the dunes, enjoy a traditional hammam and sleep under the stars. This 2-day excursion is also an opportunity to discover the Sahrawi nomadic culture.
Departures from Marrakech and Ouarzazate are also possible on request.

Departure from the village at 2 p.m. (flexible schedule on request). Arrival at the village of Mhamid El Ghizlane, we depart on the back of a camel (or on foot, as desired) along the Oued Drâa then the palm grove to reach the fixed bivouac "Desert Melody" located in the heart of a erg in the middle of the Sahara.

The evening is offered around the fire, with songs of the desert. The night takes place in a tent (hard) or under the stars, at your convenience.

After breakfast, departure on foot (or on the back of a camel) with a camel caravan for a hike in the heart of the dunes. It is already the Sahara, 100% escape, 100% nature. The opportunity also to discover what could be the old nomadic caravans. This short excursion invites a nice disconnection, accessible to all. Return to the village at 2 p.m. (flexible schedule on request)

5.00I come home with memories full of mind, full of eyes, full of heart. I went to celebrate my 50th birthday with 5 friends and Melodie Du Desert realized my dream much better than I imagined. The crossing of Morocco from Marrakech is sublime, all the landscapes we cross are dykes. The arrival at the fixed bivouac in 4x4 is absolutely great, then the departure in the desert in the early morning is fabulous. I just want to start over. A huge thank you to Karen, whose fluidity of communication is extremely pleasant, a very big thank you to Said who welcomed us with open arms, and a huge thank you to the whole team as well as the camels who without them the stay would not be the same

5.00I wanted to express a huge thank you for this extraordinary trek that I had the chance to live in the desert from 01 to 05 October. I return deeply touched, my heart filled with emotions and lasting memories. This adventure was much more than just a journey: it was a real life lesson, a suspended moment, out of time, that I will never forget. I would like to honour the exceptional team that accompanied us: • Sidi Omar, our guide, whose wisdom, benevolence and wonderful stories have given a unique depth to this journey. • Bojna and Ali, our camels, always caring, with a constant kindness and attention. • Aziz, our cook, who regaled us every day with varied and delicious dishes, prepared with passion. • Ibrahim and Hamza, our drivers, are extremely kind, always ready to do Service. • And of course Rachid, the handyman of the base camp, a real man of gold, whose generosity and presence marked all of us. Each of these people touched me deeply with their dedication, human warmth and daily attention. Thanks to them, this journey has taken on a human and spiritual dimension that I never imagined. These nomads have become our heroes of a lifetime and have taught us an incredible lesson in humanity, kindness and solidarity. I remember their faces, their smiles, their songs, their stories, as well as the sunsets and sunrises on the dunes, the starry nights, the moments of sharing and silence... Thank you for making these unique moments possible. Thank you for allowing me to live them. I keep you in my heart and who knows maybe our paths will cross Inchallah... 5.00It was perfect! From the organization of the trips (we came from Marrakech), the warm Welcoming, the kindness, the care taken to make you feel good, really nothing wrong. And then the experience itself... you have to live it! Again thank you, I recommend to all people who love nature, discover another culture, reconnect to the simple things of life, to yourself and to others. We will be back!!!

5.00A wonderful journey. We stayed in the family, with 2 teenage children who were really impressed. It was all organized by Hassan, our guide, who knows Sahara very well being originally from there and who thought of everything. We were both in company and alone, enjoying an encounter with unique nature. The bivouac is a place that lacks nothing but not even invasive, the wonderful dinner, in the evening Saharawi music and fire .. a perfect balance. Thank you Hassan and see you soon!

5.00Hassan, our guide, welcomed us as soon as we arrived in Mhamid, where he immediately showed us the parking lot and offered us a coffee. From the first moments we met, we saw that he was a very kind and kind-hearted person. Then our driver arrived in a 4x4 and took us to the bivouac. It was beautiful. We saw the sunset, and then Hassan, a great chef, brought us delicious dishes. Both traditional nomadic dishes and his own carefully crafted interpretations. Then we played typical Saharan music with some of Hassan's friends and went to sleep under the stars, which is a truly moving experience. In the morning, we saw the sunrise and walked barefoot on the dunes. An unforgettable experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to feel the silence of nature, the desert, and see breathtaking landscapes.

5.00The whole family loved this 4-day desert trek! The scenery is amazing and every day different, the meals prepared by the guides are breathtaking in such a place and the converted camps are very comfortable. Thank you very much to Zacharia, Ismael, Bashir and Yassin who were infinitely kind and efficient during these 4 days!! Our children were treated like kings and Princess Clara will remember them for a very long time! Congratulations to the whole Melodie team from the desert, the organization was perfect!! We'll be back!
