Mt. Fuji Guided Tour for International Beginners:
【Expert Support】
Climb with English-speaking guides authorized by Fujiyoshida City. Our pros manage pace, safety, and weather decisions. We maintain a high ratio (1 guide per 20-25 hikers) to support every climber.
【8th Station Hut Stay】
We secure a hut at the 8th Station (3,100m+). Staying higher means a shorter, easier final ascent for the "Goraiko" (sunrise) than lower huts.
【Exclusive Benefits】
Summit Certificate: Get an official certificate at the top from your guide!
Post-Climb Onsen: Relax in a natural hot spring after descending. (No tattoos allowed)
Starter Kit: Free safety guide, gloves, and mineral water.
Special Discounts: Wooden hiking sticks, oxygen, and ice cream.
【Easy Logistics】
Gear Rental: Pick up and return pre-booked gear (shoes/rainwear) at the 5th station. No need to carry heavy equipment from Tokyo!
5th Station Base: Free rest area for changing. Luggage storage is available for your non-climbing bags.

Pretty disappointed with the company that does this tour. Our guide barely spoke English despite booking "English speaking". During the entire climb up we blew through many stations where we wanted to stamp the stick and the guide was always rushing us the whole time we felt we couldn't actually enjoy the hike. At one point she said "no time to buy water" like nah, I need water you can go on without me I don't care. We get to the summit with a perfect west view of the mountain but we had opted to go to the crater, which was never explained to us, only asked if we wanted to go which yeah sure sounds cool. Until you realize it's another 45 mins after the top, with a pretty lame view of the sunrise. We almost ditched the group to stay on the west side so we could have a good spot for the sunrise. The food they give you for the top is terrible, bring your own. After the hike we had no idea what to do for the bus to the hot bath, and then the hot bath is crowded as hell and they don't allow tattoos, so big waste of time there. Overall, if you consider yourself even an amateur hiker, go without a guide. Or go with a different company. This one is just a money grab.

Can’t recommend Fuji Mountain Guides enough. The guides were so friendly and helpful but more importantly they made you feel safe with their professional approach.
